- The first room is just that; a first room. Clear as much of it as you can before moving to the next, but the first room is never something that requires you to double back and MAKE sure. Just play it like a normal dungeon and progress. This is likely modeled after D3 rifts, where every room was a different area of the map entirely. That’s really it.
- For you to be 100% successful at putting a level into a glyph, your pit run tier needs to be 10+ levels higher than the level of the glyph. For you to get 100% success to put a lvl 14 glyph to 15, your pit level needs to be 25. To level the glyph from 37 to 38 with 100% success rate, your put level needs to be 48.
- You are most likely slowing down at T1 because you need to gear more, or get more paragon. Around T1 you should be trying to get all glyphs relevant to your build to lvl 15 ( so you need to be pushing pit level 25) . After that you need to be hunting for better gear (ancestral gear) from Infernal hordes, helltide, etc. All the while getting more paragon.
I would strongly suggest doing the following:
- Do nightmare dungeons until you find a experience pool.
- Finish the nightmare dungeon that had the pool (obvi).
- With the xp boost active, pop that sweet sweet opal and elixir for more experience boost.
- Now do pit runs or infernal hordes until that pool runs out. You’re going to be gaining levels (more paragon) like mad while you’re hunting for gear and masterworking resources (infernal hordes or nightmare dungeons) or glyph leveling (pits). [Also make sure your seasonal boost levels are on XP as well, those smoldering ashes you get from the seasonal journey]
I hear you on pits getting slow and tedious.
You need to get those glyphs to level 15 and complete their requirements. This is that beginning “slog” you’re going to feel until you hit those glyph requirements and start tearing into T1.
Good luck
