I am quite sure Blizzard does not want to show any leaderboards during that VOH SB marketing joke.
Leaderboards have never been end game lol… in D4 they will be there so credit card warriors can flex. There are so many other things that are more important like a loadout system.

An enormous amount of players cared about them. I was on a lot of the leaderboards as well and I never botted.
Turbohud on the other hand, I’ve been using that beautiful program for years
I don’t care if they add them but it will only show how badly balanced this game really is. I’d rather they work on something more people will benefit from because frankly, most people don’t care about leaderboards.
Yes please this game is regressive compared to D3s systems.

only option atm is helltides website they have a solid pit leader board.
I think in D3 leaderboards were kind of a natural phenomenon since there wasn’t anything else than greater rifts. Everyone was doing it naturally there wasn’t a question of if people were interested in them.
I haven’t seen gauntlet for myself. I don’t know what made it unpopular. I don’t think leaderboards would make or break D4.
they were, always, both in D2 and D3. D3 was played for 10+ years because of leaderbaords.
What makes you say that it is because of leaderboards though?..
Bots ran them. I did place top 50 in S3 of D2R but you cant compete with bots & credit card warriors.
D3 leaderboards were also topped by bots 
Kinda meaningless when there is no integrity in them.
I played it in party a lot and all played for maxing out lrgendary gems, improve paragon, and all this for pushing leaderboards solo or in party. what else to do after 2-3 years in a game other than competition?
