Pit bosses have too much life! Revert the life buff on endgame bosses

The pit bosses have too much live.
Does anyone have fun by doing the pit level in 3 minutes and need 5 minutes for the boss?
I don’t think so…
Blizzard should revert the +40% life buff on pit bosses they did after the PTR…

Or you know, keep it as is, and eventually later down the line when power creep is introduced with the expansion, people will have no issues killing up to Tier 200 in the Pit. Just a thought though.

Interesting thougt! I have not thought about wether the expansion will give us more power. Then yes, you are right. Things will solve by themselves over time.

Yes I do. This is how bosses should be the pinnacle of the dungeon and take some effort to kill.

Okay!
I have more fun by doing 20 pits in an hour instead of 10 pits + 10 bosses.

I’m not even sure what that’s supposed to mean but sure I am having fun thanks for checking!

boss fight shall be 1/3 of total Pit time, not more than Pit progress till boss.

buut, they might did it like that to stop bug builds to smash Pit 200…

Nerf player dmg by 80% (less for builds that are not as OP)
Nerf boss HP by 90%

=> better balance.

So nerf them now, buff them for expansion. Shocking concept I know.

They may do this, you never know. Although the devs said they don’t expect anyone to beat all 200 tiers. Just like they didn’t expect anyone to beat all 25 tiers of AoZ. Players proved them wrong on that one. Not sure they’ll do so with this one. I don’t see a problem here.

You know how long it took for people to actually beat Grift 150 in D3? Same concept here.

Guess the issue is with single bosses taking long to kill and can one shot you.

So maybe if they use Tormented bosses debuff system instead of one shots and lower HP by a bit it might be well balanced.

Yeah, the oneshot mechanics is another problem with the pit bosses.
Lilith we can just skip because nobody needs the rewards from her.
And then it’s okay she exists with oneshot mechanics.
But these mechanics don’t fit into casual content.
And I call it casual content since pit goes to level 200 and we have the oneshot mechanics even on level 60…

Yup, D3 all over again. People had the same complaints. Except there was no echo one-shotting people, it was just the boss or the enemies instead. Good times were had by all back then.

yes pls make it easy and futile as doing a t100 nmd, from being a challenge to something that average zero effort skill-less player can beat it so he can buy mxt and keep diablo alive.

King illegal forest to pig wild kill in it a is!

That’s just a numbers games. It would be no different than just nerfing bosses a bit and making some balancing adjustments between builds. No need to have huge sweeping nerfs across everything rather doing smaller adjustments to the things that need them.

I think the issue for me is that the game requires building for clear speed, so the boss fights seem out of place. It would be more fun if you could easily swap builds when you get to the boss. It still might take a while, but it would feel like a more suitable battle instead of feeling like a wet noodle using your crowd abilities against a single target.

I wouldn’t mind the one-shot abilities if they weren’t so hard to see or nearly impossible to dodge against the bosses that fill the floor with traps. It was the same annoyance I had with the Season 3 traps in the vaults. There is way too much on the screen. I can’t avoid what I can’t see. The devs seem to have a hard time understanding that.

The primary issue is that the “top builds” all use bugged interactions and need higher hp bosses - the refusal to fix bugs mid season is causing less build diversity; if you play off meta expect to not get high in the Pit.

This is dumb. There is no reason for a problem in the game to remain for months because it might be fixed by power creep at a later date. Fix the problem now, and rebuff it later in tone with the game.

They may just do that, we don’t honestly know. All I know is D3 came out with Greater Rifts in March 2014 when RoS released. Greater Rift 150 (the cap) was not completed until 5 years later, September 2019. Not saying they won’t change it sooner, just saying as of this moment I highly doubt they’ll change it before Season 5.
