Pit boss with blood wave

i’m doing some pits 150 with my blood wave necro and i dont have much problems killing trash but when it comes to defeat the boss… it is a big problem, i do very little dmg to him unless i meet a boss with adds, why? is there a particular strategy?

It’s single target, so you lose some DPS. Make sure you’re collecting 15 Blood Orbs to trigger the Key Passive. If you’ve taken things like Increase DPS for Crowd Control or Increase DPS for corpses around you, be aware of those as well.

i’m using exploiters on boots instead of cursed aura and zan+wat on chest instead of zan+xal, maybe is that the problem?
my setup is the same as mekunas pit pushing guide https:// mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/builds/necromancer/mekuna-blood-wave?coreTab=assigned-skills&equipmentTab=aspects-and-uniques&variantTab=0

I haven’t tested, but I don’t think Exploiter Aspect works on bosses, since they never actually get tagged with Unstoppable. I could be 100% incorrect here.

I also use the Aspect that automatically Curses, so no need for Wat. That Aspect also works with the Witch Power to increase radius, so I prefer it.

cursed aura is pretty important, due to the multiplicative damage from the decripfy nodes.

exploiters only offers you additive damage.

But the OP is using Wat rune to apply Decrepify. It works, but I just prefer the Aspect myself to free up the rune slot.

I almost … Almost played that build last night (Started a necro build) but I have a very strong tendency of NOT playing popular builds simply because I rather be uniquely special.

If it’s not killing single target bosses affectly that is a problem.

Snap Shot Cata Druid to the Rescue!

yea the rune slot doesnt make much sense if we are talking about maximum damage
