Please, make it easier to get stygian idol and there is no reason to contintue to try if you dont get stygian idol after 6 runs. What is the point?
INCREASE DROPRATE STYGIAN IDOL!
Pray harder to RNGesus. Or get to t7 or t8 to have a higher drop rate.
6 runs in the pit? I’ve gone over 30 runs without a stone drop in the pit. Do horde, drops are better from the material chest
As others said, Hordes.
You can get several Stygian in a single run, along with masterworking materials.
The Pit is just a testing ground for your build now.

I did 90 last season. Thankfully Infernal Hordes are a little more generous.

Stygian Stone - Use one to summon a tormented boss.
Stygian Idol - Use one to summon a hellish boss. 4 stones make 1 idol.
Stygian Orb - Use one to summon an infernal boss. 4 idols make 1 orb.
Can we stop adding more consumable items that have to sit in our consumables tab?

Do Infernal horde rank 7 and you will be swimming in Stygian stones, your bottle neck will then be the other mats.
No, I am talking about Pit, not Hordes Infernal!
And we’re telling you that the Pit isn’t the best way to get Stygian stones anymore.
If you want to play in the pit, have fun.
If you want to farm Stygian stones, do Hordes.
If you want to farm Stygian stones in the Pit, then you are doing it wrong. Pretty straight forward.

I know, im saying stop doing pits for Stygian stones and do infernal horde rank 7+ for them.
Hopefully the dev’s see how bad pits are for stygian stones and buff it at some point, but for now just do infernal hordes, its better for literally everything.
idk. i prefer doing 1:30-2 min pit 101s for neathiron/stones than slogging through 15+ minute horde 8. plus i get loot too which is nice. only reason i do hordes is for the gold and that’s it.
Horde 7 is def more efficient than horde 8. Never go horde 8.
Once you can do hoard 7 never play pits again.
Horde Infernal is TERRIBLE design! 8-10 waves and it takes too long and I refuse to do it again! But, I am talking about Pit stygian idol should drop better! Give me good reason to do Pit if you dont get stygian idol after 6 runs?
Doing T7 is more time-effective in my opinion. You can easily end up with 600+ aether, filling your inventory with loot and getting 500 neathiron in 15 mins.
I mean, 25 neathiron for 20 aethers is a bust. I had no issue re-masterworking my entire build to perfection after half a day of farming, and just selling the loot to an in-game vendor covered half the fees.
Not mentionning the possibility to get a stone each time you open the materials chest… Got 5 in a single run of 15 mins, hard to beat.
Again, do Pits if you like it or if you want to test your build.
But if you want Stygian stones, there is a much more efficient way to do it.
i think the real issue here is me: i find horde really really REALLY boring.
it’s no fun at all.

Some people are forced to run pits due to ingolith dropping in Horde 6. Some builds have full triangles, Horde 6 is easy, Horde 7 is impossible, resulting in a hard progression lock until you do pits to farm the material that are not in the horde level you can complete.

the rewards for 6 and 8 should be evened out a little imo
