A necromancer with a sense for fashion?
Yes!!! True Black dye like in Ultima Online!!! (Yes, im old)
Yes, they will add this in the cash shop.
I think we should be able to do our own colour presets, because frankly the ones available suck
And make everything into a rainbow? A big part of the early critique against d3 was how “cartoony” it looked, and having rainbow-colored heroes running around killing demons in a post-apocalyptic world probably won’t fit so well theme-wise.
I don’t see how it’s any of our business how others look. My favourite colour palette is black/golden by the way.
In an ideal world we would have color sliders and be able to customise multiple part of our armor. But yeah my hope are getting too high.
It absolutely does need to be added - Pure White as well.
I may not be an ideal target consumer for pre-designed cosmetics - But if you offered a Color Pack?
I’m buying it.
It’s an “open world” with some MMO-ish components thrown in with the sharding tech. How others would “paint” their color presets if they had free reign would affect what you see on your screen, it would affect everyone’s screens, and thus affect their impression of the game.
Making rainbow heroes possible isn’t really a good idea for this franchise.
Usually you’d be busy slaughtering and thus don’t actively look at other characters. In my opinion it has absolutely no impact on you. Also “rainbow” colouring is hardly possible with how the textures of armours work. Aside from that there are plenty colourful NPCs and enemies.
The black pigment is one of the random materials that can come from a salvaged Shako…
There’s already bright and shiny folks all over the place.
My Rogue is sad… I did my best for the Dark Assassin look and all it offers me is Gray, Dark Gray and Charcoal combination.
Nothing wrong with Infernal Red, Blood Red, Pure White, Black, Royal Purple(not shiny - true, deep purple) and deep Indigo etc.
there is one option that turns equip mostly black, but i agree, it could use some more colour options ^^
I think the issue there are the armour materials that make certain colours just look bad ^^
Oh totally agree.
The color wheels took me a minute to figure out.
Apparently most items are 3/4 layers so the wheel is a preview of the color coding to be expected(Right?).
Brown turns gloves and boots - Tan sometimes. No tan please!
Green…I can’t even, personally use the results.
Though I really like how the “Steel” changes with some color applications.
Yeah metal usually has the best outcomes and work with most colours except things like brown or green shudder To my observation that’s true for most games that allow colour customization^^
Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you meant by “able to do our own color presets”, because I assumed you don’t mean the current presets and how they work or else what you said would be kinda weird.
But the way I interpreted what you had said was that you’d be able to put the color you want in the place you want in more detail than the current presets offers, which unfortunately would allow those “rainbow heroes” as mentioned earlier to be created via such a system.
And diablo 3 already proved you wrong in your opinion that it “has no impact on people”, because the textures and colors people see on screen will affect how they view the game. It’s fact, proven by past events.
Not like rainbows though, which is kinda the point.
I meant both. Also you’re trying to convince me despite knowing that I disagree with you completely on that narrow view. Also those facts that you assume are true don’t matter to me either. Agree to disagree, that’s the only way here.
