Why is it the one type of damage that can’t use vulnerable? Is this intended or a bug?

Physical damage does not benefit from the target being vulnerable the same way poison and others do
Is there a source somewhere that has numbers on this? I’m curious to see what the measurable difference is.
It sure seems like physical damage still gets some benefit against vulnerable enemies. I use physical damage in my build and it definitely hits vulnerable enemies harder.
Just off the top of my head, I could see Blizz making some adjustment here due to there being no physical resistance, whereas elemental damage types have resistances and armor to get through. Could be a bug too, who knows.
Perhaps its only in pvp, but Revik who does a ton of pvp has tested it as have others.

Poison is just broken in pvp, due to Resistances just not even being coded properly into the game. There are also a few broken interactions with poison still, that make a single basic poison puncture fill 3+ health bars worth of damage. It also ignores immune phases.
Its why you see a bunch poison cheese builds right now.
