I think it would be cool to give us a photo mode where we have a radius around our character where we can freely pan/angle/zoom the camera as we see fit with things like depth of field, blur, filters etc. like we get with other games. The game is beautiful but the isometric perspective prevents us from seeing a lot of the detail. Seeing as there’s already a skybox and the camera shifts for cinematics/points of interest I don’t see why this wouldn’t be possible. We couldn’t pause the game obviously but we could at least get cool screenshots. Free marketing for Blizzard and we get cool shots of our characters. Win-win.

I’m here to also request a Photo Mode / Character Viewer feature. Even if it’s not possible to impliment into the open world due to fact that terrain wasn’t designed to be viewed at all different angles, it would still be nice to have a “room” or rooms with skins from different regions and allow us to pose our characters, change angles, and capture screenshots. This really plays into your shop transactions since we’d love to admire all the different outfits we’ve purchased. I’ve lost count of how many cosmetics I’ve purchased and I will continue to do so when new awesome ones are created. The photo mode would give me the ability to enjoy those.
We could use our emotes and our skills in photo mode to capture action.

Yes, the game is so wonderfully beautiful, it is a tragedy that there is no camera or selfie mode. The art team should be congratulated on their work and implementing a selfie camera would be fantastic.
