Petition for refund for players impacted by Twisting Blades nerf

This isn’t the game I want to play and it isn’t the game I purchased. It’s reasonable if you’re going to completely change the game and make it unfun then there needs to be some consequence. You have paying customers and if they don’t want to play anymore thanks to your mismanagement then they should be allowed to apply for a refund.

If you pay $69.99 for an airplane ticket and at the last minute they swap out the plane for a train you’d want a refund too.

No. Allow them to fix it, this doesnt warrant a refund and if you read any blizzard ToS youd figure out quickly exactly what you bought into. Not defending them, but lets at least see of they make the right decision first.

What they do here will be telling about how they will treat the game, players and classes going forward. If at that point its not your game then contact whomever and ask for a refund. Its still the week of release.

LOL! Good luck with that. You bought a live-service MMO game. You should’ve expected balance changes.
I’m pretty sure it’s even in the ToS, something about changes at any time and you having the option to deal with it or not play the game you bought.

From the sound of the blue posts it sounds like everything is working as intended. I can say something feels wrong. I fully expected a tuning pass and I’m not against it. However, this has resulted in the class feeling different to play. I think Blizzard needs to circle back to this Twisting Blades issue. Despite being a large pack of mobs and dashing around it feels like Twisting Blades is having no cooldown reduction. If the bug was the issue then the talent should at least be reverted back to 0.25 / 3s or modified in some other way.

Its a bait and switch. Partner with influencers to showcase a game mechanic that you are excited to play. After purchase take that mechanic away and pretend they didnt see the mechanic working that way through all of beta and early access. If you complain have an army of zealots tell you to suck it up.

Surely you’re trolling, right? You’re still on the same plane, they just made you change seats.

I am not a lawyer but personally I think there is a strong case for promissory estoppel! But why should it come to that, doesn’t Blizzard want people to have fun playing their game? Why advertise a playstyle, have people enjoy that playstyle for a few days, then take the playstyle out of the game entirely bait and switch?

It seems like a mistake on so many levels, how can you run a company this way? Hopefully correction is incoming, if not…

Seeing posts like this makes me realize I just don’t relate to modern gamers anymore. This sounds insane to me.

I understand the rage, but… i don’t want the refund, i want the build working because it was the funniest build of the game, i understand devs tone down buils for balance reasons, it is part of the process, but this time it was too much. Lets give them a chance to fix it before anything else, i still have a slight hope that they will make it work again somehow, after all the game have only 1 week age, for sure they will post something about it, we also can ask for answers at the twitter.

I hope they give you a refund just so we can see you posting here in a few weeks after you have to buy it again.

Honestly you people are insane. You all acting like that one skill is what made the game “fun” I swear when we have war again america is toast. Can’t decide if a dick means man or woman and complain about every fkin thing

This guy is the only one who has it figured out how to deal with big companies. Complaining about it in their own forums is useless, you have to write it in the negative reviews. That’s the only way these vultures will listen to their customers.

No offence, but if someone decides to buy the game SOLELY because the Rogue class can zoom zoom in an early access build (which has the usual “subject to change” disclaimer), that’s on them.

That is such an extremely specific and somewhat arbitrary lynchpin that I have a really hard time believing it. I always read these threads as “I’ll refund unless I get my overpowered spec back!” because the alternative just seems so bizarr to me.

I mean, how can one go into a life service game based on the assumption that one specific secondary effect on a spec will never, ever change?

And honestly? Nobody has to be a zealot to call that out.

Nah, they tied him upside down in the cargo bay.

Lmao you and rest of the psychopaths should quit

I don’t understand why so many nerfs all the time, This is the same reason I quit WoW. Harsh big nerfs every 2 weeks.

This is an RPG, not league of legends, I can’t just click a different champion in champ select.

What’s the point of spending weeks/month’s building a character when you have no idea what Blizzard is going to do to it every 2 weeks?

It’s because they’re nothing but a bunch of babies who have the attention span of a Tik Tok video and their entitlement knows no bounds.

A game of multiple specs, one gets tweaked and a refund is wanted. HAHAHAHAHAHA
