Do you only get a pet for the first avatar? I am level 60 with my second guy and have not gotten the quest for a pet.
Did you check your wardrobe? It may be there to “equip”.

Pets, just like any cosmetic, are all account bound. So you won’t get another quest to obtain one, unless they come out with a brand new quest with another freebie pet. As Sarenne said check your wardrobe, either by clicking the button on your character sheet, or visiting one in town.
Good idea but my pet was not in my wardrobe. I even checked the stable, not there either.
Stable doesnt have pets. Stable is for mounts. All characters have access to basic pets all the time but they must be selected from wardrobe which you can do anywhere now.
I finally figured it out. Pets are selected from the menu at the top of the page, I looked everywhere but there.
