Another day another noob question. Finally hit T4 with my WW barbarian. Decided to see how I will do in hordes and it was a disaster.
Besides not being able kill elites in farmable speeds, I have problem with being frozen or feared. I know we have a rallying cry for that but it’s CD is long and not being able to kill elites fast enough may result in overwhelming ground effects which I fail to see time to time.
Is there a way to become unstoppable permanently? Or is it also a SB thing? I assumed becoming berserk would solve this since well it’s called berserking for a reason but apparently not.
Rallying Cry + Yen’s is the most common way, just make sure you don’t have other skills on your bar that aren’t movement or Ults. Charge and WotB are typically used with this combo because they can’t be triggered by Yen’s and also give you another source of Unstoppable.
Iron Skin + Iron Warrior + Rage of Harrogath + Rupture is another combo.
There’s also a Merc you can put as your reinforcement who will make you Unstoppable when CC’d every 20 seconds or so, I forget the exact cooldown time, but it’s the first Merc you get.

I think the rune which gives you Earthen Bulwark will also make you unstoppable as well as a barrier. Use the rune where you use your primary resource as the other one if your skills use a resource.

Rally cry + yens blessing.
It has to be always be on cooldown meaning ideal to have 0 cooldown reduction.
I was trying a combination of UB helm and rakatones since it gives a nonphysical damage bonus. I can go back to Yen’s blessing and Perdition I suppose.
That’s not true. 0 cooldown reduction just means players have to keep an eye on the skill bar less often. If the skill has 10 second cooldown or less, might as well use a different boots.
I dunno about permanent, but if you want really quick cooldowns then the harrogath variant of WW is perfect for this.
Warning though, you will be playing with all uniques/ubers except for 3 or 4 item slots.
Yes, this is the kind of gearing barb needs to be viable in T4

I run the aspect of metamorphasis on my 3 charges boots and essentially have unstoppable on demand and all the time (which is not needed). Bonus: making the monsters vulnerable with the vampiric curse. Hightly recommended.
