Permanent "Reconnecting to Diablo IV" on upper left of screen

I’m playing with the constant message “Reconnecting to Diablo IV” on the upper left of the screen.

Also, the camps are not shown on map, neither sidequests

Is there a log or how can I fix this?
My internet connection is super fast (400mb)

Try exiting the battlenet client and open it back up again. I think the connecting issue is just that it’s trying to connect to your friendlist or whatever but that does not impact D4 gameplay per say (missing camps etc). That’s all I got on this topic .

This is happening to me too on my laptop using wifi (it’s 1Gbps) but it doesn’t happen to my desktop that is a wired connection. If you’re using wifi I think it could be related to our Nic Card/wifi antenna. Maybe a driver needs to be updated? Not sure but maybe this narrows it down.

Place your laptop in a “line of sight” with the router.
This gives the best connectivity you can get.

This happens to me on my laptop when the wifi connection is interupted and or my computer goes to sleep inadvertently (buggy Dell).

I was still able to play in the PVP zone but some social features were limited.

You can try relogging into battle.net though this didnt work for me in the past.

The only thing that worked for me was finishing the battle or NMD and just logging out and in again.

Any updates??

This is happening to many of us it seems.

Have another D4 player in the house (PS5) and no issue whatsoever.

On PC, this seems to be happening.

WHAT IS GOING ON??

I’ve resolved this issue on pc. I did two things and no more connection problems. I don’t know for sure which one solved it but I’ll wager it is the second one. Read on. First, I uninstalled battle.net launcher, and reinstalled it on the same drive as the game. Secondly, I opened settings, typed firewall into search, opened firewall & network protection, then scrolled down to advanced settings. On the advanced settings page I clicked on inbound rules in the left menu and enabled the rule for every battle.net, battle.net launcher, Diablo IV launcher and Diablo 4 Retail. I then made sure that each rule has the proper directory for the application location, which they didn’t because I reinstalled both to my SSD. I Right clicked each battle.net and Diablo 4 inbound rule then clicked properties which brings up a window with tabs. Clicked on programs and services, clicked browse to choose the same application location for every rule with the same name which must match the rule title, where “Diablo IV Retail” in the rules, is the Diablo IV application in the Diablo IV folder. Hope this helps solve the disconnects. Adios.

It’s bullsh#t, because nothing works in game, like the blacksmith, map doesn’t work. nothing works if it says reconnecting… its a bug goddam and it’s frustrating.

Still getting this off and on. Definitely not a driver or an internet issue.

Yeah this has been happening everyday I log in on my first boot up of the game for the day since last week. Whenever I leave to relog it just crashes and closes blizzard too but then goes away or I have to restart the process and try again. And OFC I can’t know in the log in screen but only after I’ve actually made it all the way past the 4 different loading screens in-game.
