I already reported this in the EU forums, however I get the impression that those forums are being ignored!?
Has anyone else been experiencing constant drops in FPS since the last update?
I’ve played D4 since release and only now has the FPS become an issue, I have tried lowering all the settings, even playing the game in windowed mode, but nothing seems to help.
The FPS stutters in every screen, from the character selection screen, being in town, being alone in the open world (or dungeon) and even the shop stutters, these big drops in FPS have made the game unplayable for me. 
I’m playing on a PC;
Windows 11
RTX 4090 (latest drivers are installed)
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core
32 GB RAM (the game eats up a very large chunk when it starts)
SSD (NVMe) drives
I’ve tried a full shutdown/reboot and I’ve lowered the graphics quality, nothing has helped … what else can I try?

i experience the same, fps going down and making the game almost unplayable sometimes

I don’t really know why, but now the game is running smoothly again at 60+ FPS.
I do not know exactly what happened, but the “story” goes along the lines of:
I tried playing on Saturday morning, but the FPS was stuttering along, so I quite in frustration. I didn’t turn the PC off, instead I was doing something development in VS Code when a friend came online in Discord. I pinged my friend and ask if he was experiencing similar issues, so we got into a chat channel and chatted about it. He started up the game and said beside bad loading times (for him), the game runs fine and he asked if I would join him, so I thought fine why not give it another go … so I logged in, this time while logging in I misclicked and accidently increased the game window size (yes, I still have it in Windowed mode) … then, when I got into the game, all of a sudden it was running smoothly again, as if nothing was ever wrong. So, after days of fustration, it’s fine again for me.
I do not know if it had anything with me being in Discord (which displays an overlay in the game) or me accidently changing the game window size, but since then it was been running smooth again, so I haven’t touch the game setting again… If you have Discord, try going into a chat channel or maybe switching to windowed mode and manually resizing the window.
