As my eyes went down looking at the Affixes 1 perfect roll after another. I gasped and believe I just won Diablo. Well to be specific the 4 rolls are perfect and the 5th is .7% off.
Think above 800 or 825 it goes from 3 to 4. So if you got a perfect 3 out of 3 roll on high item level when you upgrade should be +4 and goes for any skill.
What’s crazy too is I’m making an Iron Skin build using the legendary too where it grants damage mitigation and unstopable when you cast IS. So this will be really beefy now.
Wasn’t using it before guess I’ll have to check out the changes if it fits into my builds. Regardless good day anyhow.
Edgemasters Aspect? Seemed like a lot of Barbs used it. Rogues too and even my Sorc since my Sorc wasn’t mana dependent, it was free 20% damage.

Sweet I have a side project for a Fury Barb. I have a 2H stat stick with 103% perfect roll to basic skills. I need a better Battletrance unique though. Only +3 Fury. I have the + 60 IAS legendary imprint on this weapon for base attack.
So on my other 2H could put an edgemaster and really scale Fury since it’s tough to scale unless really specific gear.
Don’t think I can agree. I’d say it’s stat and build dependent. Str is a strong stat, it adds damage for scaling and Armor which is important latter. It’s not thee answer but it’s competitive with other stats.
I really do but this is for doing hard content. IS is really the strongest barb defensive after the nerfs to shouts. Since the Legendary for IS gives Unstoppable and 40% DR.
Then with the Healing passive IS Full heals you, Massive Barrier, Unstoppable and DR. It’s super strong and life saver.
Armor doesn’t work if your intent is to push. If you have 60% DR showing. Fighting an enemy +20 levels on you will drop it to ~30%. If you had cap 85% it would be 45%. Something like 500 extra armor does pretty much nothing.
DR Vs Close, DR Vs Distant and DR while Fortified are ideal. The 4th roll is up to the player.
Agree also flat DR is is amazing but also all these have diminishing returns at 40%. (Well not sure about fort)
So the best defensive stat I’ve seen actually is DR while injured. You can get this extremely high and is a total life saver. If you end up in a bad CC or mob you manage to survive till CDs or you can react. It doesn’t seem to have harsh diminishing returns. I’ve gotten 54% in one set up with just Ammy and my boots. It works really good. So stack HP and have this and survive.

Which is why you want beyond cap. I have 11,154 armor which is showing 100% in display vs my level. This is why the legendary aspect that adds .75% armor per stack up too 50% increase armor is good. So fighting higher level mobs you still maintain armor mitigation.
If you are fighting mobs 50 levels higher you could reach Armor cap vs them but god knows how much armor that actually is. It’s likely insane and 30k armor at 100 level. More math and data on that needs to be done.
Agree. If you’re capped then that works. Usually the Chest/Legs cap me. I do like flat DR and I’ve used Injured. Very good against Poison which is just silly damage.
