They also won’t grab boss summoning items either, which is kind of annoying.
It picks up anything you didn’t have to click and could run over to grab. Simple, no need for a list. If someone doesn’t know what those are from memory, they haven’t played more than an hour of the game.

They get mailed to you anyway, you can literally not pick anything up and all legendaries and boss matts will be mailed to you. No need to loot anything really, unless you care about the trash potions, sigils, and yellow items.

You have ten slots. Each singular summoning material takes a slot as does each item not picked up. Exceed those ten slots and you stop getting whaty ou failed to pick up.
I’m not suggesting you level 1 to 100 without picking anything up and then go to the stash.
Just don’t bother picking anything up in a dungeon run unless it’s at your feet, and you can collect it in town no problem. If you are full, and you clear it out, the other items that are left behind will then be added to your stash too unless you already closed the NMD when your tabs were full.
In helltide, things generally won’t despawn until an amount of time has passed, so just check your stash when you go back to town.
