Penitent Greaves not leaving trail

The unique boots item Penitent Greaves has stopped leaving a trail of frost behind me and I have tried to remove and re-equip but it still doesn’t work. I’m not sure what happened or why it stopped working, it was working fine a few days ago then randomly just stopped leaving the frost trail. My character is a Necromancer.

Penitent Greaves unique ability - You leave a trail of frost that chills enemies. You deal 15% more damage to chilled enemies.

Experiencing this for the first time, but on PS4.

Same here, but I’ve noticed this bug is only on the Ancestral version of the Penitent Greaves, not on the Sacred version, on PC.

Seems to work now, even on Ancestral version, after restarting the game. Nice boots, hope they will do some alternatives versions for others builds (fire, poison…)
