Simply hold ESC down. It doesn’t tell you that you can - but you can.
thank you for your service, but the esc button doesnt work in most of the cinematics.
Damn, I apologise then. I’m still early days in the VoH campaign and any cutscene I’ve come across I can skip by holding down ESC.
The only ones it doesn’t “skip” are the ones where it says “Cutscene will finish when game is done loading” or similar.
Sometimes if you don’t see the option I have had to alt-tab, click back into the game then the ESC option appears. Just as a heads up. Been there since day 1 sadly.

pretty sure any keypress will bring up the “hold esc” prompt to skip, mouse clicks might even but I can’t really remember.
Yep. This has happened to me since the beginning. Almost like the game window loses focus but simply clicking back in doesn’t work. You need to activate a different window then the game window. Helpful to have two+ monitors here but alt tabbing works too.
