Man post college education now a days. Must be a conspiracy to adjust the release time to after the bed time on a school night of everyone under ESRB age rating.

How do we fix this. I preloaded the game last night?

There is no fix really. All your base belong to them. Until they improve the education system their devā€™s are trained from, or more experienced ones that are paid more. This is the quality we should expect from Blizzard going forward.

So basically wait for their ā€œEmergency Maintenanceā€ right at launch to finish?

Yeah, they posted they are having a technical issue and that the system would be down and they were locking out accounts till its resolved.

I have heard half an hour to 3 hour delay.

Iā€™m just waiting. No point getting all upset over it.

Iā€™m not upset. Iā€™m having a ball discovering just how far their incompetence goes.

boy youd think these people never played wow on new expac dayā€¦ lol the first few daysā€¦ expect everything

does anyones game say its on the new patch. still says 1.5 for me unless its gonna change after this downtime

Well, I suspect the launcher might not auto update till the maintenance is done, however I have had to exit the launcher in the past and then it would update. But Iā€™m not doing that till I know its up and running.

ok thats what i figured. ill just wait and come back in an hour or so

Yeah learned that the hard way once. Maybe we should give them (Bliz) suggestions on how to fix the problem.

Try rebooting
Try deleting cache files
Try reinstalling
Review your DXdiag & MSinfo files.
Check to make sure the power cable is plugged in.
When it prompted ā€œAre you sure you want to delete this folderā€ did you say yes?
