I am posting this hoping that it is seen, because this may be an issue no one has or will point out.
Following patch 1.1, the microphone input sensitivity for in-game chat appears to have been increased to the point where the input is choppy/cutting out.
Prior to 1.1, the opposite was the problem. The microphone input sensitivity was too sensitive and would pick up too much noise, including key clicks.
I play with a number of friends spread across PC, Xbox and Playstation. We utilize in-game clan chat to speak to eachother and socialize. It is an amazing feature.
However, following patch 1.1, I feel unable to effectively socialize with my friends as the game will constantly cut me off. I suspect this is due to an undocumented change or a bug.
Proposed Solution: A slider to edit our microphone input sensitivity would be great.
I have tested my microphone with other services/programs including discord and OBS. I have no microphone sensitivity issues with anything else but Diablo 4 in-game chat following the patch.
Please, if any of you are experiencing this issue, give some feedback. I would like to talk to my friends again.
