Every time I try to enter the Temple of the Primes in Act III, the game freezes. I tried updating my graphics driver and it’s still doing it.

Same problem. As soon as the temple door opens, the game freezes. Been chatting with someone on Discord and they have the same problem. Any fixes or workarounds?

I am having the same problem. I was it in it around 3 am last night and got disconnected from the server so I ultimately went to bed. Wake back up and now it freezes my game every time I try to load it. Not sure what changed between then and now.
Same problem for me. Nothing seems to help.
I am having crashes here as well, except at the end of the quest

Im stuck here as well. Quite disappointing that this is the only way to progress through the story but it freezes whenever i try to enter…

having the same issue too on descent into flame.
PC.
So, today it worked. I’m thinking it was maybe something to do with the necromancer minions. Someone above mentioned they were necro and the only change between yesterday and today was that I changed my build to sacrifice all my necro minions. I was getting random flashes where they were hidden during cutscenes yesterday, so maybe it was just making it lag too much?

This is super annoying. I hope they fix it. It’s the invuln chains that appear over characters (in this case the minions).
Also, got to the door, the voice over played but I did NOT touch the door and pressing “A” caused the game to freeze too. Guess I need to sacrifice minions before even getting close…
I also am experiencing this same issue. The game crashed when I tried to enter. Now the game is crashing in the general area of the temple entrance. This is super annoying.

I’m also now stuck here (PC Player) :l I have tried three different attempts to get past this. On my last attempt I tried to portal back to town just in front of the door, game still proceeded to crash. I’m Trying to “Repair/Scan” the files & see if that makes any difference, I’ll update if this fixes it.
Updated Edit: I made it through the door only took me 5 trys >_>; anyways. I restarted the Battlenet Client (that might have fixed it not 100% sure) Another possibility is (On PC) I hit "Escape to bring up the little side menu, then I clicked the door to open it, closed the menu, then I brought up the side menu a second time clicked the Door & I was through the door.
My boyfriend had this issue and we were just able to bypass it by having me join his party and just me entering the temple. He was able to tp to me via the city portal after I entered with no issue and continue the storyline. Worth a try.

I ended up entering the dungeon after getting crashed everytime by cleaning up my inventory first, then I removed all my minions by putting in passive mode, so they are not even on my skill bar.

I solved the issue for myself. Even on a high end machine i have to set graphics to potato. Now i can enter the temple. Please Blizz, fix this!!!

On Series X and having same issue. Have to force close the game and continue. Tried 3 times so far and keeps freezing. Using sorcerer.
We solved it, make sure lorath is with you when you enter
