Has anyone else noticed the game totally crashing their pc very frequently since patch 2.2.1 or 2.2.1a?
Just got the expansion and cant play for 10 mins without it completely crashing my pc. Fortunately Blizzard provided a handy support article which says “This issue is not supported by Blizzard Customer Service as it is not caused by a Blizzard product.”
With latest Nvidia drivers 570+ versions, my PC on RTX 2070S crashing frequently.
But I uninstalled latest display drivers with DDU, then install 566.36 desktop game ready driver. And with 566.36 game ready drivers, my PC works fine, no more blue screen and no PC crashing.
I’ve only own the game for just over a Month. Hadn’t played it hard or to death. Yet, in the past 3 weeks or so, the game has been crashing on me going to sky blue screen saying that (presumably Microsoft) is collecting information on the problem and we’ll restart your computer for you. Tonight, it’s happened twice, last time while opening a Greater Cache on a new character.
No telling when these crashes happen. I’ve scanned the game, and it came back fine. My computer is up to date. Heck, there was another Windows 10 update today that I performed before playing. It’s a software problem with the game. And the game is unplayable. I’d rather get my money back then have a digital paper weight that occupied hard drive space.
cough-cough Blizzard, this is your que to fix the integrity of your game. The product is failing to sell itself as it’s literally unplayable at undetermined intervals of time (few, 10s of minutes, half hour, maybe hour or more).
Yes, if not the entire PC just the game will crash too.
