Dear Blizzard… please finally bring couch coop to PC - that’s why im forced to play POE 2 and not D4 as it have couch coop on pc and devs are not hurtfull for PC users making content equal for PC and Consoles.
Function is barely done, designed and programmed on xbox which is similar in programming…

bring couch coop to PC blizzzz
I’m personally all for this. But–
My guess on why we won’t-outside of any ideas that it might not be commonly used, whether true or not-has to do with licensing and the difference between consoles and PCs.
Consoles are considered a “closed” environment, and one in which it’s expected to have in-person multiplayer with only one purchase of the game. Even if the players have to log in to guest accounts, everything can run off of one licensed copy without real danger of issues game companies would dislike.
PCs are “open”-users can easily install any software they want and run it any time.
This means for one, if Blizzard allows multiple people locally to have an active character in a game running off of one battle.net login, multi-boxing suddenly becomes a lot harder to fight. It also sets up a precedent where their preferred standard model-one player, one purchase, one login-isn’t needed, which I’m sure isn’t something they want.
If Blizzard requires (and allows) seperate logins simultaneously, same issue with multi-boxing. And other exploits, I’m sure.
it’s couch coop in split-screen/share screen and not multiboxing - you can’t even go to much from a char and need to pin two controllers.
it’s not true the consoles are better for couch coop - that’s PC that have better hardware, larger monitors with Ultra-Wide that are better for share screen and so one.
and if you are “defending” the “close/open” - as a excuse - the issue is in people like you who thinks corpo’racionaly and not quality of life/user friendly for sake of exclusivity and better functionality. Which actually reduce sales and not increase them.
As now im just forced to play POE 2 and didn’t playing D4 as it doesn’t have couch coop support like POE 2 have. So actually it decrease population - and two persons are more tend and will to buy skins - and game earns thousands more money from skins than license buying. One skin can oversale entire purchasable game copies. Which is proven many times as single skin earns more than entire product sales from statistics from other companies.
it’s PVE game with no real player based economy. And it’s not suppossed to work as separate logins but as one as it works on consoles.
Dude I said in my first sentence I was for it. I was just stating why it won’t happen.
I’m sorry that’s difficult for you to understand.
I can hookup my Xbox to any size TV just like my PC so the monitor size you speak of is wrong.
You cannot have 2 accounts using the same PC. Yes you can run 2 instances of battlenet but then you run into a controller issue. If you both like using a controller, there will be a conflict. One will have to use keyboard/mouse the other the controller.
Easiest way for couch coop is to bring 2 pc into your living room, hook each up to a tv and then play. If my wife and i want to play on our pcs (note she isnt a gamer at all but i use her in my example) like a couch coop, we have an office that houses our pcs. She does have a laptop so essentially that is easier to bring into the living room.
Where there is a will, there will be a way. Use your brains and you can find a work around to something they probably will never implement. PC couch coop is just going back to the old LAN party setups.
The monitor size - mean “ultra wide” - there’s no ultra wide monitors that are more comfortable to play on split/share screen as both players have more space than 16:9.
Stop defending they laziness and careless there’s no point there’s no couch coop on PC it’s disgusting dyscrimination.
We need it
I am not defending it. I am simply pointing out its not a high priority issue for them.
but it should be
Do a couch coop is goin to pc for season 10? or they still ignoring?
