I don’t know if this will help anyone on pc all my blizzard games just kept randomly crashing at startup or it would load the game then crash.
I reinstalled all my drivers and updated firmware, that did nothing.
I finally found that going to
clicking download battlenet
re-running the executable fixed all my issues.
I did not even uninstall first. it seems like it just fixed an update to battlenet itself that was causing problems. All my games run again.
having tried everything else, I repeated what you did, as it was becoming obvious the issue was at Blizzard’s end. It seems to have worked; I will see how it goes tomorrow.

Edit: Sadly this has not worked for me. The following day I logged in and the same issue occurred after about half an hour’s play.
You may have something going on that’s corrupting your files. Such as a drive going bad, or memory problems causing file corruption. Especially if its affecting everything. So its not obvious to me that its on Blizzard’s end. Its actually very likely to be on your end.
It’s not what you want to hear I’m sure, but I can’t see a problem like that being Blizzard’s fault, even though I know there are plenty of things to blame them for.
Sounds like its time to do some troubleshooting or have a tech help you out.
Thank you for your reply, however I am quite confident that it is at Blizzard’s end as indicated in other threads and having gone through all the suggestions that you and others have made.
Well, you are entitled to your opinion.
Not hard to download an app for the brand of drive you have and do a check on it, or to run a memory test, just to make sure, but its easier to blame Blizzard, that’s fine.
Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but with how you described it, and the effects, I have a hard time believing its anything Blizzard did. Even if you believe otherwise. But I’m not trying to be mean, just being blunt.
