Pay to Win promise has been broken

Guess I know who to thank when the game turns into Diablo immortal 2.0.

It won’t. If you think so then just don’t buy the game. You obviously aren’t anyways so…

I don’t think they did it right this time. I don’t have a problem with Twitch drops and that you have to pay a subscription to Stremer to get cosmetic rewards. I also don’t have a problem with Battle Pass. But I do have a problem with this latest move it is just wrong.

Go play fortnite.

I already have the cry of ashava, I don’t need to waste anymore time listening to these trolls cry about nothing. These two think that if it’s not free to play it must be pay to win because you have to pay in order to play the game.

I wouldn’t have bought D4 if I thought it would. That’s a bold and baseless claim. But that’s pretty much everything you do here

Well they already introduced it, but it seems like you’re willing to give a blind eye when it comes to P2W, give a mouse a cookie…

Legally, forever. If it costs money to make/buy then it has monetary value. If you win a hamburger, it has monetary value even though it is consumed. Any physical trophy, medal, or ribbon cost money to buy and print/make.

I still have not seen your answer Kroni, are you going to be racing to HC 100? Does this impact you?

I have bought deluxe edition and pretty sure I will not make top 1000. I guess I need some other peoples deluxe edition because their edition is more p2w than mine. What will I ever do

Kroni thinks… “If I had a cookie that’d be a real win. The grocery stores sell cookies? hmm… COOKIES ARE PAY TO WIN!?”

He isn’t even buying the game. He is just here to complain.

aha. bet now many of you fellow forumers of long date, start seeing what i meant when i said non buyers should have been firmly locked out long ago. expect worse naturally next days, the closer release gets. or does anyone really think at least some of these aren’t paid shills? come on. it’s business.

I will be happy when the forum is locked to paid licenses only like most of the Blizzard forums. sigh

Do people have nothing to do in life but make up problems that don’t even impact them just to create drama?

I think we can already see who has a game licence and who does not.

yeah the guy doesn’t want to race to first 1000, doesn’t want to play hardcore, doesn’t want to buy the game. Wants to shout “pay to win,” at the top of his lungs in the forums. He could have spent this time getting an extra $30 so he could have the same start and still not make it to first 1000.

Oh so we are going by that absurd logic of monetary value?
Fine by me, then by the same logic recognition and fame is monetary value all on its own.

People winning and drawing in recognition and fame to themselves is indeed monetary value, so even if the trophy wasn’t involved the mere fact the contest was put in place and the fame that comes from winning such a contest is monetary compensation and “Winning”.

Are you telling me that HC players are the only players impacted by Blizz lying about no P2W elements?
See, when someone lies and breaks their promise I would think it impacts everyone.

I think if you care that much you’ll pay the extra $20

But is scared because he is losing trust in Blizzard’s intention and the way they do things.

Blizzard is really making some enemies for no good reason.

I can agree it can be considered PTW for the statue thing but this does not make the game itself PTW so I could care less. This does not negatively impact gameplay at all.

Personally, I would have done this at the start of S1 to be more fair if I was Blizzard but it makes sense in many ways why they want to do it at launch.

Wrong.

You have no way to view someones licenses and the forums are as unrestricted as the Amish during Rumspringa, but I have a feeling you and Kroni know that.
