They said that if I subscribed to PS Plus and played in a group, my chances of getting a mythic drop would increase. I paid, subscribed, and spent a whole month playing and trying to get a mythic drop — and got absolutely nothing! I’m talking about Torment IV, bosses, tributes, and everything.
This feels like a scam just to make money.
Where ?
Playing in group, offer more rewards, not mytics !
Playing in a group doesn’t increase the chances of a mythic drop from bosses?
Have I been misunderstanding this whole time?
I actually believed this because YouTubers said so.
Playing in a group gives you a chance to get 1 extra drop from lair bosses (maybe other activities). Every drop from a lair boss has a chance to be a mythic. So if you do 10 lair bosses in a full party, you’ll net 10 more chances for one of your uniques to be a mythic.
But not worth it when fighting Belial. I do not think the Extra Drop mechanic works with him.
Plus the fact that people kick each other out of the selection screen is maddening.
The Group for more loot concept is something I do not like. I think there should be more rewards for soloing content and actually taking your time to build your own toon. Parties are ugly because everyone sells at different paces, and so much crap accumulates so fast it slows everything down. Maybe auto-sell non Ancestral option?
Playing solo is its own reward: you don’t have to deal with strangers online.
That’s not data. Fight him solo and count the number of drops. Then fight him in a party of 4 and count the number of drops. Do the second part a couple times, in case you hit that 1% chance of failure.
I agree. Throughout my entire gameplay, Belial’s drops never gave me anything worthwhile.
What frustrated me the most was running countless bosses with random people and still not getting anything useful. A game where you spend hours playing and receive nothing you actually want just isn’t convincing — and it definitely doesn’t motivate you to keep going.
I stopped at level 200 because I got tired of repeating bosses and getting nothing interesting in return.
They try to sell the idea that playing in groups ‘helps,’ but in my experience, it didn’t help at all
