Path of Exile, Last Epoch, Grimm Dawn, and Hero Seige

FOR a minimum of 70 bucks you could buy this game which has no optimization whatsoever! to hell if the game works they will make changes to classes. Every game in the title is FAR FAR beyond whatever this game is DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR 70 bucks. Several in the title are Free to Play Path of Exile being my personal favorite there is no pay to win etc… but to each their own I just want anyone who didn’t know this is not representative of a modern ARPG this is well just not it… its garbage but for like 40% of the time when it actually works.

I feel like Diablo is a very decent game that is worth your money. People pay a lot more for a lot worse games. Game is easily a 7/10 with a comfy campaign.

PoE is also a great game. Started out worse than this game and is currently better than this one.

Last Epoch has a worse endgame than diablo IV, and is worth trying if you’re bored.

Grim dawn is a decent game, but feels very janky. Worse than D4.

Hero Siege is definitely a decent game, but worse than D4.

Conclusion: D4 is in a meh state right now, and I don’t think it is that bad, it only started to get boring in the level 80s range because you get geared up in your 70s and have nothing to chase after.

i wonder why so many people are incapable of reading, and following forum rules… anyway… Flagged the post.

PoE absolutely did not start out worse than this game. I get that’s a matter of opinion, but to me it’s insane to say PoE started off worse than this.

Just for starters, PoE had way more diversity of skills and builds (the stuff aarpg players want).

I played PoE when there were only two acts. It was a slog where you had to play endurance charge marauder and slam very slowly through the game. People playing that version of the game now would say the game is crap. There was definitely not that much diversity to play the same two-three acts in a few different difficulties. On top of that the network rubberbanding issues made it so it was nearly unplayable. This is some rose tinted glasses.

Might be part of your problem… they weren’t going for the niche, they are trying to open it up to a broader audience.

Did they execute well? Not really, but they clearly put a ton of effort into the campaign and full voice lined side quests.

For me, they have a great foundation… and I hope they put some more power into updating quickly.

I can’t argue with that. I just expected basic things like resistances to work, and honestly my #1 gripe with the game is just the drabness of the itemization and the linear character building.

I’m totally ok with more casual type players enjoying the game for sure though. I would have much rather loved the game than be in the opinion I am of it now.

ok the difference being that was never a full release game tbf. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A FULL RELEASE GAME lol and one of the first priced at 70 bucks… With the bugs and nonsense this game shouldnt have released for 6mnths or a year. imo
