I’m here in Eastern time zone waiting for the new patch with will give us Blade of Zir with 400% more minion damage. I hope this is strong enough for minions to do T4. I would love to pair this with the auto cast ring to make a true lazy dad afk build.
ADDITIVE (+)400% summon damage. Is nothing. And auto cast ring also doesn’t help in damage output at all. That sword is just pure trash. Use a 2H schyte with Unyielding and you will have a better time, untill you get a Grandfather sword. Also minions can allready do T4, without that piece of 
sword.

Yea I was basically at the point of converting my Minion Necro to Bone Spear…but then decided not to bother to login anymore instead.

I don’t think you guys understand that it’s the additive that we NEEDED!! I currently sit at 700x with my golem and 400x with my mages and 350x with warriors. Now hit that 400 additive and do the math!! 280,000;160,000;140,000… respectively. That a huge buff

My Blade of Zir build can already do t4. I’m farming obducite with it (effortlessly) and during that, hit (single hit mind you) for 2.7 billion. I saw p4wny hit for 14 billion.

The notes stated a fix for Cold and Corpse minions. That’s a win. Also I believe the patch comes out Wednesday May 14

I watched that entire video and he’s right with just the weapons. But he never once, added the aspect that you could put on a legendary that more than doubles the damage of your minions while army of the dead is active. And in my Current build, my army of the dead has 100% up time
I also need to add that I am able to build 20 stacks of souls within eight seconds for a recast of army of the dead. I achieved this with the aspect of Fel gluttony. Every corpse that the golem consumes to reduce its cooldown counts toward your army of the dead cells
He does mention Unyelding. Watch again.

Mac is incredibly disingenuous. In so many different ways that I don’t care to list. I’m not saying he’s wrong on the numbers. What I am saying is that he’s using said numbers to put a spin on it & sell you his idea of what his reality is, and that’s not the whole truth.
Grandfather is a mythic item while Sanguivor’s is a unique item. Ofc as a mythic (and esp that one), there’s more power on it. However as it’s a mythic, it’s by default harder to get one.
Whereas with Sanguivor, you can get it much earlier on. I’ve already proven that can clear pit 55. It implies the t4 open world can be done and indeed I can report that there’s no problem doing content. I’ve finished the battlepass & I’m at my last 5% of the season journey. That means that I’m almost to the point where I’m done playing.
For a new unique, and not even for a top spec, that’s insanely good. Plenty of other uniques that came out & don’t have good builds that rip with them. This one does. You can’t ask for anything better.
TL:DR, what Mac is saying is basically, sword can’t do t100 so it sucks. There’s ppl in his comment section that just takes his word for it without even trying it. Without understanding that’s basically what his conclusion is. There is no practical data here (as in what would your experience be from moment you get it to when you hit your limit). He just makes an assertion based on it’s assumed pit tier capability and that’s it.
I’m sorry but to me, that’s not enough. Even though I get blasted for it, there’s a reason why I show you the progression from lowest levels to relatively high level. It gives you more of an accurate picture of what the experience is actually like.
Lastly, he’s been taking digs at me and it’s actually pretty funny. Both in the last video that you canceled & even this one. You have a hawk haircut while geeking out about numbers and a game, and calling ppl “sweaty nerds”. Like who do you think you are dude?

The only thing Macro points out, that this weapon is not a good option for minion focused builds. He highlights what it does(or more like what it doesn’t do) in a minion build, and how it is not optimal to set up a minion build around this weapon. It is great for an AotD focused build. And AotD is still not and never was a minion skill, it’s an ultimate and summoning skill.

I don’t disagree with you but with that said, this is indeed a minion/AotD build. People seem to get this idea that minon builds are only built one way, has to do 1 thing or another, and that’s simply not the case.
The question is, are the minions a big ‘feature’ in this build? In this one with Unyielding, the answer is yes. So it’s a minion build. There’s nothing else to be said on that.
Is it also, or can it be classed as an Army of the Dead build? Sure. The minion damage is only one component. You have that, you have the ultimate damage, and you have the damage from the aspect. It all comes together.
The build should be seen on it’s own, in the sense that it can do this and that, can reach pit tier whatever, can hit for so and so amount of damage. You know, that sort of thing.
AotD and minions are not tied togeather by deafault. You need an aspect for it. Minions are part of the build, as the windshield is part of the car, you can get from A to B without any, but it is good to have them. It is very not optimal to try and go hybrid damage, as in trying to increas the damage your minions and AotD. You will miss out on a lot of scalers on both side, if you are not concentrateing on one. For all summoning skills there needs to be a unified source to scale them properly, and not seperate minions and AotD.
Playing it and its doing fine just dont use it with AoTD. Use souls as your ultimate. T3 destroyed with my build and that sword is 8/12 with 2/3 on the mastery updgrades
