So seeings how its a live patch is there no exact time for release?

I thought Blizz always released “major”/non hotfix patches on Tuesdays? Wed seems like a weird one off.

Its really an uncommon day for patches. I was hoping a little for a typo as well

That is out of the norm for Blizz as its common they patch things that should never be broken in the first place.
Welcome to game development. While yes, Blizzard has a plethora of issues each major patch, plenty of other games do as well. Taken into context, no one is off the hook with a statement like this.

Diablo 4 is the only “live service” game that i play that has all these issues from the start that have not gotten fixed. 2 years down the road, they keep coming back.
Reason i play Ubisoft games and go back to 14 yr old games…cleaner code development and polished games within 1 year of release. No issues of crashing due to trying to use 200% of my RAM. Yes i get that on release there are going to be issues but Blizz is kicking the can down the road and then asking us to pay $25 per class per outfit for “cosmetics” that have 0 impact on gameplay.

I never understood why they didnt jist let you tp to boss dungepn or lair like they did NMDs or hoardes. And finally it came. And the using the mats to open chests instead of summons is one of my favorite improvements this season. Im enjoying it far more than i originally thought.

Its a nice QoL feature but they need to fix the bugs since pre day 1.
This is because they reused some D3 code and have a mountain of tech debt they build on top of.

Oh there’s any number of games that still have issues with old bugs that were never fixed, yes even live service ones. I’m not saying Blizzard is off the hook on this one mind you, but it’s not uncommon in a live service game. It sucks don’t get me wrong, and I agree with your sentiment of playing older games.
Now it doesn’t bug me (pun intended, intend your puns weaklings!) enough to stop playing entirely, or to not voice my opinion about it, but short of sending in bug reports every season, there’s little I or anyone else can do at this point.

Exactly. It doesnt bother me at this point because now its more comical how far they are willing to let this be the norm for their games. Play or dont play. Plenty of other games out there. Speaking of which, my pirate legs are calling me back to Black Flag.

Yep. SWTOR has been online since 2011 and STO has been out a bit longer. Both games have bugs going back to the very beginning. I know because Ive played both. Hell, in WOW the Worgen starting zone is STILL bugged and that came out way back in Catacalysm.

It’s the worst I’ve ever seen as well. Over a loooong time. Offer suggestions. Some get picked up, yet still signs things aren’t right. Offer suggestions again. So far, crickets.
