Patch of frustration

This has to be the best update in the upcoming patch:

" * The Realmwalker’s health has doubled."

Really Blizz, lengthening this boring encounter!

Thought you were supposed to be listening to your player base - instead of addressing the issues in the Vessel of Frustration and the Season of Loot Aborted you decide it’s a priority to double the health of the Realmwalker. Well, I’m glad I have that rep grind maxed out already (what an unrewarding mess that was), as it’s no more realmwalkers for me.

When will you address the real issues that:
1 - useful loot just doesn’t drop.
2 - on the very rare occasion that it does, you can be sure you will brick it trying to get the right tempers. Why can i only use a scroll of restoration once on an item!
3 - when an orange GA item drops it’s codex affix is nearly always low rolled.

105 hours in and I haven’t even seen a splintering energy or frozen orbit affix on a GA item - let alone one with a decent roll.

It’s a pity because this season and this DLC is superb in so many ways - I would be loving it - but the decisions around loot do not engage the player base, except for a minority who somehow think that if you want to max out your character you should be playing 20 hours a day for 3 months.

This patch should NOT go live without:

1 - changes to drop rates of orange GA items and guaranteed high roles on the codex affixes.
2 - changes to tempering so you can pick the affix you want (keeping the range if you want some RNG)

and yes, I know this all sounds like I’m a filthy casual, but 105 hours and I’ve had enough of the kill mobs, loot chest - vendor it all - repeat - which is my game loop because useful orange items just aren’t dropping with GAs on them.

Now even the 5 peasants will get a chance to hit him. This is their solution.

I have strange feeling that Blizz does that intentional. You know, we will spit in your face and you will pay us for that
“We listen to community” my A$$

I think you are right - they know what has worked, season 4 and 5 with the new loot systems were well received. They got the feedback from the PTR but only tickled drop rates for orange GA items.

Blizzard does seem to have a habit of doubling down on things that players don’t like. In most industries this would get you either broke or fired.

We heard SB class made realmwalkers disappear in less than a second. This should help them last a 1sec longer and generally piss off the other classes. Just a quick way to increase your fun.

Sometimes I wonder if they play the same game as the rest of us. I’m assuming it still dies in 5 seconds, but this change is absolutely pointless to do…why?
