I wouldn’t get my hopes too high. Since S1 was developed before the game released, don’t expect for season 1 to redefine the game. It will be the same D4 experience with some light mechanics added that may make some build more viable. As for the patch notes I’m expecting nerfs to busted builds like Bone Necro, HotA Barb, and Shred Druid. I am optimistic, but I don’t think there will be too many buffs outside of the new seasonal mechanics
If you like the game in its current form you will like season 1, if you are not having a good time I don’t think season 1 will necessarily change that.
You won’t see the patch notes until your BattleNet client tells you that the patch is ready for download…they will not release the notes before the patch hits.

If you like the game in it’s current form doesn’t mean you will like season one, literally all the good builds utilize exploits from broken mechanics or aspects. You can look forward to most builds being destroyed imo unless blizzard decides they are ok and what are the chances of that happening lol
Some of the malignant sockets they shown seem pretty sweet. I can see all sorts of new builds popping up.
22 atk speed for 20kills then I get a new aspect that might not even fit my build for 20 kills? That personally sounds horrible to me
Lol all good builds? I played Pulv. druid, Nado Druid, Poison Imbuene Rouge and Poison Trap rogue that were all good builds without exploits from broken mechanics or aspects.
All of them use broken mechanics yep maybe not pulverize druid

I can say with a fair amount of confidence, no, you won’t get patch notes on a Sunday.
While Blizzard does sometimes release patch notes early, they don’t always do it. You will get them for certain on the 18th when the patch releases.
Its Sunday, they are not going to pay anyone weekend bonus just to post patch notes.
Yes poison damage for rogues multiplies itself more then once is why it does so much damage, might not be just rogues poison since it seems way op from mobs also, and nado druid isn’t possible without the bugged aspect that lets you build your crit dmg to 1000% which is a bug guaranteed.
Yeah guys! They won’t pay for over time…
Except when:
- shakogate causes “142” people to experience a somewhat reasonable drop rate
- players find a way to farm XP in cellars
- Aspects don’t work and require disabling for a week
- Quests don’t work as they intend
