or

Yes, and after you have done that you see that there are no patch notes for 59238

just for 59118. 59238 was a hotfix.

228 megs is not a hot fix. a hot fix is a server side setting, lol
there is no definition on how big or small a hotfix can be. Neither is it defined that its server side only.
a hotfix is pretty much just a patch thats rolled out as soon as possible, to fix issues that appear, without having to wait for the next regular patch.

A hot fix is something that affects the player without downloading anything
hotfixes are server side that we dont have to download anything for. typically just tweaking numbers on the server side.
patches are client patches we have to download.

did you look up the definition to point out you were originally wrong and everyone else was right?
Then explain how every single hotfix that has been pushed since xpac launched has required a DL… cmon man.

well, that would be correct if the definition would include that its only server sided, which cant be said from various sources.

no im pointing out facts. go to the patch page, those are the patches you have downloaded. the hotfixes have not been downloads. surprised you didnt know that
