Couldn’t agree more.
pvp is even worse . hota vs hota nobody wins
rogue melt 20k life and hota do 0 damage to them nice changes
I think well be chasing lucky hit chance and execute injured stat.
They shut off skull gems on rings and neckpieces…750 armor lost is a big hurt for alot of players. Blizz is not listening to its players but to an algorithm. Those gems saved players from taking big hits. I have a rouge with 11k health and now I get chunked for 8k of that 11k health if an elite or our boy butcher gets a hold of me. Not cool Blizz you dumb F’ed up this time!!!
The likes in this post justify the “we”. You can count me in too.
Im stealing this to post up on twitter XD
Yay!!! Finally! When I’m walking backwards, on my tippy toes, singing a song, while my resource regenerates near an enemy, and get a lucky hit, I get (up to) a 5% chance to land a critical strike that’s been nerfed! But wait… there an extra .0005 damage if this happens at night!
Super dope!
but it does stop the lazy players from getting a free ride to higher world tiers, I get constant spam from unknown players who want a free ride to WT4 without putting the time and/or effort in to reach WT4 when I did the work myself. The tourists need to stop using the higher-level players for a free ride.
As a level 100 sorc, I can say you are spot on. Logged on after patch yesterday, was getting 1 shot in NMD 40’s, struggled and died 3x to clear a NMD 51…I was farming 50-60 in 7 mins before patch and it felt smooth and not OP, just right where it needed to be.
I could slowly do like low 60’s , had to wait for Ult etc but it was possible. My ability to do NMD’s just went down by 20 levels, and most of the deaths are not due to lower dmg (which is already felt for sure) but the cooldown change…so much time standing and waiting around or running away waiting for some CD to be up.
I think the meta now will be to stack as much +dmg to distant enemies and try to kill everything off screen with ice shards. The camera is so far zoomed in for cosmetic sales that off screen is the only thing ranged. How fun.
Good on you. You sure you are playing the correct Diablo 4?hahahaha
I don’t typically come on these things, but I just wonder if I’m alone on this. I feel like this patch should’ve been all about fixing any slight bugs or added in some things last minute things that you simply didn’t have time for or realized " hey that’s a good idea", I’m looking at you, gem tab. Instead its a swath of reductions because it feels like the developers of this game didn’t bother to test it on the end game content and have “broken” performance in certain classes. Did they not bother to test their own game before release and now are going around nerfing everything? Yeah I get it they buffed a few things but the general concensus is they nerfed viable builds. They never should have been overpowered in the first place. It should have been tested to see if this is gonna break the game before release.
I feel like the uniques are meh at best with poor unchangable stats, there’s no set gear which I cannot fathom why. Half the fun (and there wasn’t much) of d3 was trying to get the set bonus to make some fun gameplay.
I enjoy this game, but i’ve spent a lot of hours leveling different characters and now they are even more underperforming in my less than capable hands than they were before. Why? How was it allowed to be released so poorly managed and so quickly nerfed? I know i’m a filthy casual and that’s ok, but i’ve got a sorc at 76 and a barb at 57 and a bunch of other piddling toons as well. Am I going to get a free reset on my paragon board?
In short, I just don’t understand how you release something without knowing how it works then have to jump and nerf things because you didn’t properly test it. No one likes when play something that is fun and then suddenly “sorry sir that’s too much fun were gonna have to cut it back a notch”. Try fixing the mount bug that wont gallop outside of town or the horrible lag. Anyway just my 2 cents. Happy gaming out there.
The game is dead until rod is fired. Not sure kotick cares but you can email microsoft games division and let them know. They will keep that in mind when the purchase is finished.
Just remember rod’s motto, fun detected = nerf.
Fixed an issue by uninstalling Diablo 4 and uninstalling Battlenet.
We did get 1 QOL. Now we can craft any amount of materials we like, instead of 20 at a time. Not sure that outweighs the rest tho! ![]()
yeah, I noticed the low drop rate. 7 in 5 min of farming. I’m no pro but that seemed awfully low. Hope your right
I’ve leveled all my characters by myself, but man, who cares? If people got boosted, how it affects you and your gameplay, like literally HOW? And for what reason solo players also receive XP nerf with these changes,
TLDR of the patch notes
- Fixed multiple instances where players wanted to play diablo 4
- Fixed a bug where some players where having fun in the game
- made the uninstall button more desirable ( players where not using this feature enough )
- Fixed some instances where players had a remnant of faith in the diablo 4 dev team
FIX THE ECONOMY Bliz! $$$$$$$$ just to reroll ONE stat? A good patch would be to half every price for retooling builds and provide more resources for completing quests. 25 minute job for just 2 veiled crystals? LMAO
After reading the patch notes, to be honest i was baffled. I don’t think i’ve ever seen a worse patch in any of blizzards game (yes i’ve gone through a few…).
They literally took everything that players wanted - and just reversed it.
Lets go through a few:
-
Leveling - Because the season format people we’re doubting the “all over again grind” Because it was extensive… Your solution: Lets make leveling slower
-
Helltides/out door events - Felt bad doing the grind just to find a few ancestrals here and there, even tho the pace was kinda quick (helltides) Most would probably love a High risk and high reward fix. Your solution: Lets ramp up the risk but keep the reward the same
-
Builds - The general complaint was that alot of the cool abilties coming into a game was just not playable because the balancing was way to off (Sorceress being the most obvious example) and now going into season 1 we were hoping for addition of big buffs to make other builds competative with the ones being “meta” - Your solution: Lets GUT all the good ones and do smaller buffs to the rest to make everything levelled out in being weak.
-
Pathing/Mounting - Feels clunky AF, if you want people to invest in skins atleast make it an enjoyable and smooth experience - Your solution: Haven’t read anything in patch notes (correct me if im wrong?)
-
Storage space - Filling up your cube in a few weeks to make sure you have all your good aspect rolls saved up, having no place for your gems etc. We want a better design to take away all the sorting (takes ALONG time which could be spend doing fun stuff in the world) - Your solution: Radio silence(?)
I mean i can go on, but i will stop and just say that i am extremly dissapointed in your way off listening to the community to adress the stuff that actually are troublesome in the players eyes, instead your choose your path and stick with it and it almost feels like a rip-off…
