I thought they said they were done with kiss/curse mechanics.

  • Of Metamorphosis
    • When you Evade you turn into a cloud of bats, becoming Unstoppable for 2.5 seconds. Enemies along your path take Physical Damage and are inflicted with Vampiric Curse.
    • Evade’s cooldown is increased by 5-10 seconds.

If this isn’t kiss/curse I don’t know what is. Reduced unstoppable with double the evade cooldown up to possible worst case roll of 10 seconds. What is even the point then?

the unstoppable is the same. but yes the cd of your evade increases. if you dont want to increase your evade, dont use it

Kind of boring patch notes, still no attempt to make Preparation or Inner Sight as competitive to Combo Points. HoTA still out damaging all other classes combined. Whirlwind will never compete with HoTA. Blood Wave damage is pointless, must make it case 3 by standard so dont have to waste an aspect slot to make it usable.

I thought it was 4 seconds, not 2.5 seconds. Evade at 10 second CD, isn’t about using or don’t use it. If you are adding content to the game, it should be reasonable to use. 10 second CD is not reasonable. 100% CD increase would be reasonable similar to Juggernaut armor cd. They should have done the same here.

Legacy Selig does not appear to be fixed.

Use multi charge boots or boots where attacks reduce cooldown, the aspect is still very much usable.

I like these under +/-50% changes even if it’s not enough to completely fix something.

Also “+seconds to evade” is a nice modifier if it’s not over used.

would you prefer it to say 100-200% cd. thats all it is. and metamorphosis was hotfixed mid season to be 2.5 secs across all levels. only thing that ended up increasing was damage done. 5s-10s is perfectly reasonable for the evade increase. it is a whole new source of unstoppable.

The increase to poison creeper is going to make druids shine.
Barbs got buffed AGAIN with another way to gain Overpower.

Those are the big changes to me.

A interesting batch of changes for most classes. Glad the snapshot bugs got addressed.

I think people forget that tibaults procs and extends for 4 seconds after usntoppable, no? So ideally, you want to be doing this ever 6.5 seconds anyway (2.5 + 4 seconds).

For stunlock defense, having multiple charges or the 1 second reduction on hit would probably be the best.

I assume this will be a limited to boots / amulet like the movement aspects?

How is this a buff?

Blood Surge

  • Damage bonus per enemy drained reduced from x10% to x5%.
  • Nova damage increased by 40%.

The damage for the Nova is 50%, which will be 70% now. With the reduction to the damage bonus, it seems like it’s hardly anything.
