As with every patch to date, my launcher wont update to the new patch, and i cant connect to servers (34202). to date ive tried un-installing, turning off processes, giving permissions, etc… none of these things fixed anything. as with each update before after 1-4 days of not being able to access the game, it updated by itself. HEY BLIZ WHATS UP WITH THIS

my game has a 1016 error now.
Blizz cant do anything right.

just a random idea here… double check firewall access for battle.net and diablo iv
grant access to all or delete and let them request again
TY, but tried to no avail 
some players are having luck with the battle.net launcher setting change
go to settings > downloads and setting a limit to the download bandwidth
put a check mark in limit
and set both values to 999999999
hit done and exit launcher completely and try again

Same been trying to update the game since 8am this morning and hours later nothing. Tried uninstalling game and the launcher to no avail. Now I’m stuck at “updating battle net”
delete all firewall instances of battle.net and diablo iv game
disable antivirus firewall or interference for battle.net app
run battle.net app in admin mode

the link led to the solution. twice the startup froze, and i had to wipe the file, then uninstall the app, then upon the re-install it worked. thanks homie
