Party Finder on Xbox - no results with 'any'

Cross play is enabled, have never been able to invite to party, trade, etc , and now with the party Finder it never lists anyone. I can see other players in the world, but it seems like something is broken or a setting is wrong. Help?

Not sure if it ties in with the party finder but in Xbox settings there’s some options under privacy that will affect your ability to even chat with other players:

Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > view details & customize > communication & multiplayer

Thanks, do you know what they need to be set to?

My current settings:

  • join multiplayer games: allow
  • cross-neyeork play: allow
  • others can communicate: friends
  • you can communicate outside of Xbox: in-game friends

I flipped everything to allow just to be safe. It’s up to you if you have access.

if you are experiencing this issue, flipping xbox options as stated above and restarting the console fixes it
