It only took them over a year to include such a basic feature but hey, better late than never. Kinda funny when I was just commenting yesterday how we need one if they’re gonna keep pushing co-op play.

The only party finder feature I’m going to really care about is the Bossing feature so that mats are collectively gathered and people can’t BS their way into a group and then stiff everyone when it’s their turn to contribute.

The only use for me is for ubers rotations.
And if they remove mats, I’ll run on bosses solo too.
There is no required group play. Its one dungeon. Skip the dungeon just like people who dont like pvp skip pvp. There is a lot of other stuff to do.

I play solo and I am not buying Gamepass to play with others (almost like that was the plan 
). If i was on PC, I am ok with group content …until they said the poison pill: “Requires group coordination/communication.” - thta’s the death knell for me. So I HAVE to group, and I HAVE to have voice chat with all the wonderful internet stuff that goes with that?

You literally need at least 2 people to run Dark Citadel, you cannot play it solo.
It’s more . Can I get this mog or item elsewhere playing solo. If that’s the case then what their doing is fine

There are in fact exclusive items to DC. What we don’t know yet is if that includes gear, only cosmetics confirmed thus far.

I think the broad direction of this game changes every 3 months. At launch they swore to us it was “play your way” and that playing solo was a completely expected for players to play the game. They also told us great lies like “running into another player in the overworld will be a rare event” but I see another player like every 30 seconds lol.
Their words and past promises just don’t mean anything.
