Paragon points should continue to accrue after level 100

My friends and I had a blast doing dungeons and leveling together, but now that we’re level 100, there’s no real incentive to continue. Those 6 special uniques are far too rare to endlessly grind for, and the loot that drops otherwise isn’t worth it, either. If we could keep progressing through our paragon boards, however, we’d get right back at it, even if the XP needed per point got progressively higher. Yes, eventually you’d end up with a super character, but does it really matter in a game like this?

Yes, because fun is against ToS in Blizzard games.

Definately needs some endgame progression.

Comoletely agree. The end game lacks any progression. Glyphs max at 21, iten hunting is kinda meaningless now. Min maxing is really all you get.

It’s likely due to the bot infestation and multi-user accounts from D3 ruining Leaderboards.

You pretty much had one month to score 200 or better. Afterwards you’d just get out paragon’d.

Another note on Leaderboards. They NEED to make the board show Name/Rank/Class only.
None of that copy the highest leaderboard guy’s build crap. At least in a video they have to watch.

With how the board is structured… probably not.

Maybe this would be something we would see in a future season. I don’t know if I personally would like to see infinitely scaling paragon again. But if it was implemented in a way were it could actually work it would be interesting to see.

You would need a lot of more boards to begin with though.

True, the way the board is designed adding more paragon levels wouldnt fit with the mechanic. But the glaring problem is stil lack of progression. I get it, you hit your max and thats apparently it. Other than rolling a new character or waiting for seasons, there isnt much to do. Its d2 all over again once you hit lvl 99 lol. But you could use your main in D2 to farm for alts.

We cant do that here in D4

I always viewed it even in d2 that my character wasn’t done until I had perfect rolls and it has kept me coming back seasonally for d2 for over 20 years. I understand that some people don’t want to search after fractional power increases but for some reason I can’t really stop.

I agree completely. I don’t know if anybody hates the way your character level determines the level requirement on dropped gear more than I do. I lose my mind imagining what kind of person would even think of that, and why they would do it.
What I meant is that it wouldn’t hurt the player experience to just let us keep improving our paragon board. Plenty of times I’m looking at my board wishing I had just a little more. Just enough to max out glyph bonuses. Just enough to reach down and grab that hp. Not sure where the line should be drawn.
There probably should be a cap

I would rather have skill points continue till level 100, and a deeper skill tree.

I dont know… infinite paragon levels is why i quit D3 = botting

I quit the game the same day I hit lvl 100. and im never coming back

That’s in the masterplan, will be initiated on seasons 58 after purchasing the 5th expansion.

I would rather have unique end-game progression systems instead of just continuing the paragon board which is something meant to be finite and requires a bit of planning.

I agree. I loved gaining more paragon points in D3 and I wish we could do that in D4 as well.

Holy necro batman :person_facepalming:

And nty. Yall wanted fast leveling and here it is. We dont need another system that invalidates gear.
