Paragon Point Missing

Hello,

I am playing Season 12 in Diablo IV and encountered an issue with the Season Journey rewards.

After completing Chapter 5 of the Season Journey, the game correctly granted the following rewards:

  • the pet

  • two reward caches

  • two Smoldering Ashes

However, the reward that should grant +4 Paragon Points was not credited to my character.

I verified this carefully by counting:

  • Paragon points obtained from character level progression

  • Paragon points obtained from Season Journey ranks

The total is exactly 4 points short, which corresponds to the reward from Chapter 5.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Restarted the game completely

  • Logged out and back in

  • Completed additional Season Journey objectives

  • Created and entered the season with a new seasonal character

  • Verified the Paragon board to ensure the points were not applied automatically

The Season Journey chapter is marked as completed, and the other rewards were received normally, but the 4 Paragon points are missing.

Could you please verify the reward status on my account and credit the missing Paragon points if possible?

Same thing happened here. 4 Paragon points went completely missing.

I had the same thing just happen to Filet O Fish season journey claim, and it didn’t reward me my paragon points but gave me the cache.

Same thing after killing Butcher in Torment 3. No paragon points rewarded from completing Rank 5 of the season journey.

Same thing happened to me also - missing 4 paragon points going in the Rank V level up. I wonder how many paragon points I am missing and just didn’t notice, but I noticed these. Did get my pet, caches and ashes.

I just experienced the same thing when completing the level 5 season journey.

If it makes you feel any better guys, my level FOUR season journey quest to defeat Urivar also didn’t credit Paragon points. So it’s not just isolated to tier 5.

Hey Blizzard, or is it Microslop now, is someone going to assign this a ticket or are you guys too busy protesting ICE? At least use AI to let us know it was assigned a ticket for a real human to investigate so we can get off you back about it.

Same here, season tier 5 rewards got everything but the paragon points

As of today’s patch they somewhat fixed it. I got 2 of the 4 lol. I assume we get the other 2 next week’s patch?

Referring to after the patch only:

I think people didn’t realize that the patch lowered the total possible paragon points from 38 to 36. Before the patch, the total possible was 50 (38 paragon points), and after the patch the total is 48 (36 paragon points).

Meaning, the patch gave 2 to players, and then subtracted the final 2 from the total. So the 4 have been accounted for.

To check:

At the top of map, the total number of points claimed is displayed. The total possible is 48, which is 12 skill points and 36 paragon points.

Using the total claimed points (be sure to subtract the number of claimed skill points), add your realm paragon to the number of claimed paragon points.

Compare that total to the available points on your paragon board. Do they match?
