Am I missing something?
As a sorc, I still have nodes that require DEX and WILL and I have grabbed as much as I can on the board, but once I swap all my legacy gear out I will lose significant bonuses from it, and as far as I can tell the only way to stack non-main stats now is gems…that can’t seriously be what we’re expected to do?
Gems give stats bonuses now. Dunno if it’s enough to get seven boards though.
Don’t use the gems for stats. It’s not worth it in any situation to not use Ruby for max life.
You can activate those rare nodes on about 4 boards (starter + 3), so prioritize it that way. But, honestly, most of the nodes aren’t worth it because they contain so much small additive damage.
I’m only doing 4 and it looks like it’s going to be a problem. I guess that’s the route I’ll have to go though, but i really hope they do something. Either make it main stat only, or have the nodes themselves provide more of the off-stat.
paragon board wise nothing really changed. pre s4 you didnt roll a stat that wasnt a main stat either, as that wouldnt make any sense. so yea, your board most likely isnt optimized yet. Also, of course, these nodes meet the requirements more easily the higher you level, as youll just accumulate more off-stats.
I suppose really how I need to look at it is, how many affixes am I using to get those bonus stats? If I can get more bang for my buck out of having them as different affixes and losing the paragon bonuses it’s fine, but if that’s not the case it’s not good.
-Prioritize your paragon board for the nodes that are most important.
-You’ll want to use some glyphs that boost Rare & Magic nodes for the extra stats.
-Those gems now give 100 of a stat so you shouldn’t need more than one of each of those secondaries.

This confirms what I’ve been thinking myself as I mess around with a build planner.
Also agree with ruby’s for armor. More HPs is hard to pass up.
