All the other classes are falling behind because they were designed to use multiple Paragon boards. With the limit of 5 boards, their power is restricted, making them lag behind Spiritborn, which was specifically designed around the 5-board limit. Either allow us to use more Paragon boards or redesign the other classes to level the playing field. Of course, unlocking more Paragon boards would make Spiritborn even more broken, but at this point, no one cares if they get stronger—Spiritborn is already in a league of its own.
On a positive note, leveling glyphs to 46 to unlock legendary power isn’t as bad as we originally thought.

Not sure I completely agree, though I can see where you are coming from.
The limit was put in place to stop what your are asking for. People were zooming from glyph to glyph only racking up 7 boards. Sure we have a 5 board limit now but each glyph is much more powerful specially at legendary and higher. the new glyphs pretty much two glyphs in one with most of them giving two [ x] bonuses now.

They should’ve done a class rework before the release then, just trying to find ways to improve the other classes. Opinions and discussions are welcome—thanks for your input!

I definitely agree, I hope more balance tweaks are in the works. It seems every season or two there are giant sweeping changes, so it will be interesting what’s in the pipeline for season 7.

they are still very boring though, i remember people were saying that this new systems allows for better customization and choice making and thats it’s not true, it’s actually less choice. You grab what ever legendary nodes you can and what ever blue cluster and thats it. It’s the same as before but less, choice wise not power wise though.

I also agree, it has all been boiled down and made boring. Some classes never having really any good choices in the past and still have limited choices currently.
I’m not a fan of the system as a whole, paragon node system, I feel it is archaic from days long past. But here we are. heh.

Yes, the new 5 board limit is killing my neurons. Theres no ‘efficient pathing’ or min max consolidation to consider. We just go farm pits to fill it out and get 3/4 glyph upgrades because one always fails at 90%.
Boring af and once its completed, ill be happy to shut that cycle of gameplay down forever and forget about it (eternal server).

I’m at Paragon 254, and I’ve run out of rare nodes that can actually boost my character’s power. So, I’m swapping one of my glyphs for a new one that boosts all the main stats in the area, just so I can place my nodes where I can see some progression. It’s a small boost, but at least I know I’m getting slightly stronger with each Paragon level. Every bit of power matters, especially for other classes.

But what did you remove to add that little growth opportunity? Compare to final result of new option to see if its a dps loss (that glyph looked great till they halved it following ptr. I was looking forward to it too. Do you like what it brings? All stats can be useful in many scenarios so it has potential, i think)
Im on sorc, and yes towards the end of paragon lvling ill be picking nodes like ‘impairment duration reduction’ just to make the board look symmetrical, as there will literally be that option or just going theough the pathing and grabbing clusters of main stat that branch off if available. Already maxed out every glyphs available nodes, both rare and otherwise.
My brain is gone

I think the 5 board limit is good. It makes the boards more meaningful. With no limit, they should just do away with the boards and just have us choose legendary paragon powers and glyphs.
Chasing as many glyphs as possible is part of the broken power creep that blizzard couldn’t solve.
I’m not really sure, but at least I have something to look forward to while leveling Paragon. Lol. I mean, I can’t beat Pit 100 on my own. I’m not a streamer with triple crit on every piece of gear. My Dance of Knives build is slow at killing bosses, so that 16%(x) bonus damage to elites helps a little, I guess.
The 5 board limit has nothing to do with how far ahead they are in power it’s all because of bugs in some aspects and a legendary node
Wait for a balance patch, the 5 boards is not the problem.
honestly, I think each class should have gotten a mini-rework with the expansion, toning up passives and giving an extra skill or two.
It would have made the expansion far more exciting and more worth its price tag. Hell, one of the good things that path of exile does is CONSTANTLY changing up each classes zones and passive nodes to keep each season feeling fresh because its a new experience each time, even if you’re picking the same class as before.
It’s because they designed the entire season and “rework” around pushing you into a random $40 purchase.
Why would business execs and marketing dept care about “other classes”? They got your money already in June 2023. Base game Diablo 4 is already end-of-life.
Now maybe they can sell us a microtransaction “scroll of infinite boards” for only $24.95 per character per season.
Its either that or they nerf everything down to the ground next expansion, only to offer you the opportunity to purchase the ability to play in more or less the same way as you did before.
Trash design lifecycle. Blizz uses it for all their games. We will see it again next year in this one.
Not all 5 boards can benefit every build. Theres not enough points to fill out every board anyway.
