I know there’s a sentiment that paladin/templar/crusader or whatever else are very vanilla, and that may be true, but they are incredibly unique and such a perfect fit for these games that they don’t feel the same without them. I bought D4 and played briefly and was hopeful for the dlc to include a paladin but it didn’t so I didn’t buy it. These days the only blizzard product I play anymore is D2R. I’d love to jump back into D4 but unless the last dlc specifically releases paladins or something similar I think the games dead in the water for me. If they did however release such a dlc I’ll happy buy it and any of the pre-requisite dlcs as well. Please add them Blizzard, I know there’s a significant push for them to come back, I’m begging you to listen to us, we have money.

101% chance it’s the next class in the next expansion. Blizzard’s had it requested for a long time and it looks like it would fit next expansion’s theme too well.
It worse than you think… just look at the gear needed for any build that is not Spiritborn… a total joke… this game went from good/hard to a crashing every 10 minute mess with zero balance every patch breaks the game every season has the same bugs and new ones even more crashing more lag heck even the mount vendor menus are laggy af atm… chances are I’m never buying new content for this game … just tired of being milked and getting nothing but a mess in return.
Next expansions theme? Did vessel of hatred set the stage for something paladin related? If you wouldn’t mind briefly telling me how it sets a theme for paladins I’d appreciate it. Hopefully I can get hype too if there’s enough evidence lol.

Nice, reading about it. Hopefully with that expansion they do some soul searching and fundamentally rework the gear and drop system. Being able to just turn something into a specific piece that you want takes the fun out of the game so fast it’s unreal. I’ll come back for a paladin class but I’m also hoping they fix the game in that xpac. They could have carbon copied the way loot worked from Diablo 2 and even copy pasted gear from it and people would have been happier than what they have now.

- skill 1: autoattack with screenwide aoe (trillions o’ fine dämitsch)
- skill 2-6: anxiety bubble autocast function, 0 secs cooldown
- shiny blonde hair and mustache
No paladin/crusader/templar is a blasphemy to Diablo series.
Wake the fook up Blizzard.
Paladin is most possible class to come next since how end VoH.
But i’m not against a new type of class, like Blood Knight or Demon Master
They’ll probably need to give that class free if they actually want people to stick around. At this point I’m not sure if there will be a next expansion.
If you paid 50% upfront fee for the development cost of the next DLC, I don’t see any reason Blizzard will not accept your proposal to include Paladin and all the classes you want.

Honestly, I would rather see Barbarians get a shield build before making a new class.
I seriously begin to wonder if a Paladin / holy type of class releases in state of extreme OPness like that of SB, will this many people still complain about it ?
I have a feeling a lot of people complain is also due to SB class in itself is not what some people were hoping, or in general dislike the class.
I highly doubt people will complain to have their favorite class nerfed , some might, but majority probably won’t
I still go play some D3 every now and then for the Crusader class.
