Paladin feedback

Paladins are able to use Axes and Maces, but they don’t benefit from any ability to apply Damage over Time or Guarantee Overpower, nor have any capacity to make a serious build off of these mechanics.

Zenith and most Zealot skills could be buffed. Zenith and Zeal are fun to play, but perform an average 10 Pit tiers worse than non-Zealot builds.

Zenith is also profoundly bugged, causing players to get stuck. I get stcuk from Zenoth an avergae of 20 times per hour.

The Oath system needs more depth and complexity. There is no variety within the Oaths. How about when we select an Oath, allow us to choose a sub oath within that Oath that further boosts that oath. Ex: when selcting judgement oath, there would be three or so options to choose from, like make Judgement skills apply Fervor, or apply judgement 10 times makes all your skills guarantee overpower for 5 seconds, judgement marks can now stack on bosses and elites.

I think the Paladin could use more passive skill options, but the same could be said about all classes.

All the items in the game need an inherent rework to make better sense for the heroes that can use them and every item should have 3 options that can appear as an inherent.

Then add a new rare drop to the game that can reroll inherents like scroll of inherent.

In terms of the Oath system, I now agree. I used to think, well, we don’t have access to the keystone passives yet so the Oath serves as a nice little hold over. After the keystone passive though, it feels too much like a necessary overlap.

My Paladin is using Neksem. It guarantees Overpower. I will freely admit that’s a S11-only perk.

I believe Banished Lord’s also guarantees Overpower.

You lucky son of a gun! But regardless of Sanctification, there aren’t a lot of good synergies for Overpower with the Paladin, and there aren’t any DoT builds either. Yet Paladin still uses Axes and Maces.

I do love this idea. This is the kind of creative feedback that the forums could use more of.

Neksem isn’t great on Paladin. If you’re using an aura, all the hits get instantly used.

It’s only good against bosses, and only if you’re fighting for longer periods and the boss has no adds.
