Paid punishment

That’s pretty much what diablo 4 is.

I play it since season 2 almost non-stop (season 3 make me quit) and i have to say, for a paid game and “live service”, it’s easy the worst thing i ever see, take any other FREE LS game, you have rewarding for playing it, very enjoyable events, even the paid content is somewhat fair with the player, but diablo don’t do that, it’s more like you receive less reward form playing, very boring events and recycled ones and the paid content is crazy expensive for a paid game, 2800 plats for 4/5 piece of armor and one weapon skin (this amount of plat is almost the same as half the game price).

If you came from other game or didn’t play for a lot of seasons, you can say the game is fun, it’s fun, but that’s it, now play it for like 3~4 seasons, you will be VERY bored, the game has no late game, so you go for torment 4 do the season journey and it’s over.

For a action rpg in the level of diablo to don’t have even a crafting system, that’s not right, for sure. You need to get a gear for your build, you get it after a lot of farm, you go to blacksmith, you put your gear in a slot machine and pray for it to got the affix you need, you roll it 7 times, 6 of this you get the exact same wrong affix, the last try you get other affix with is not good for you either, than you can reset it to try again, the process repeat and you still don’t get what you want/need, and you just done it for one affix, you have another to do the same thing. This process repeat itself with any legendary gear you take and want to use.

Every week the first boss you kill drop a week cache, that cache give you some “REWARD”, for a activity you do one time a week, the better thing you get here is the tribute for undercity, and that’s a DLC content only. Talking about DLC, if you don’t have it, you can’t create the mythic gear you want for your build, you need to create a cache to roll another slot machine to get 1 between 11 gears (i’m excluding the dlc mythic).

I’m not going to start talking about classes and balance between then because for that to work right, blizzard need to take guys that know the theorycraft, give them tools, to explore the min-max of any possible build and make a report about it, and everyone know blizzard not going to do this.

For the last topic i like to say something, the boss fight. Since VoH launched and we got 4 torment difficult i feel blizz lost hand in this. If you are on T1 and go for any basic boss (varshan, Beast, Zir, Greg or Urivar) you spend 12 mats, if you go for T2, you spend 12 mats, now what about T3? Again, the same amount, i don’t need to talk about T4, do i?! And whats the in this? Simple, the lower the difficult, the lesser your reward, with the idea of making the game little bit more hard and wanting the player to actually do bosses early on and being punished for this, don’t make much sense. If you are luck to get the unique for your build early on, it’s just make doing it again in T4 worthless, and by far, doing T4 boss is terrible, i have done 14 urivar in sequence, i got 3 belial (80% or 20% increase chance?!) 7 ancestral unique, and more than 100 uniques. I agree with the fact that last season we got a rain of legenderys everywhere and it’s terrible, but the point is, make less drop, but make it matter, principally if it’s in T4.

Please remove pit from the game.

No, keep the pit IN the game! Omgosh, if you’re that mad at it take a break for a while from D4. I’m trying to get all my glyphs to 100 and the pit is keeping me entertained with its new grind feature called “suffering”.

I play eternal, I don’t have many issues; but the few ones I do have involve bugs with the class itself.

Farm and grind, GL.

Need a TLDR
Remove pit? why?
People need to vote with their wallets which they wont

If you remove the Pit, there won’t be much left… unless we merge it with dungeons. The problem with dungeons is the sheer number of unbreakable doors—it’s frustrating to open a hundred doors per dungeon just to upgrade a glyph, and we’ll have to do it over and over again.

One good thing about the Pit is that it gets rid of those doors. Unless they add breakable doors, but I assume that’s a limitation of the engine—otherwise, it would already be a feature. As for the rest, I agree. Especially uniques must be buff, currently a lot are meh, and rewards must be better at higher difficulty.

The problem with the pit it’s that blizz make it a obligation for the player, want xp? Do pit, want to upgrade glyph? Pit. “End game”? Pit, and all it does is giving more health for monster, than you enter it, look for a pack of monster, kill it, go to next, do it again, fill the progress bar, go for the boss, kill it and got some obols and gear, than repeat again. If since you get to torment and start to farm passively some currency just by killing monster (it don’t need to show on the scream) and you go in a major city, talk with one npc and upgrade your glyph, that way any activity you do killing monsters you don’t get the sensation of lag behind, and become more natural to do, instead of every season you just need to come back and do the pit to be able to get stronger

Just play another game, if you get bored from Diablo. I got bored of it countless times

I agree with you on the way NMD work, yesterday and today i just did it and it’s very exhausting to do, that’s the exact same reason i dislike pit, it’s a thing that already have in Diablo 3 for more than 10 years, D4 just lost it identity to be a copy + paste from the previous game content

Why wouldn’t you want improvements on something you get bored of so easily. Why be so dismissive.

Oh right. The real end game is just trolling the forums.

It’s not easily, I play a good amount of hours each season. How long do you think your fun in a season should last until you get bored?

Damn these first world horrors, buying a video game and calling it punishment lmao :joy::joy::joy:

Longer than a week. Or a day in this case.
