It’s a fresh start, we should have to pay those stuff again, to segregate a tier list for leftover whale of this game
I retyped this reply about 5 times but decided to go with:
“Huh?”
Firstly there’s no “whaling” in this kind of game that only offers cosmetics, and at such a lower price point. Now I’m not saying the cosmetics are cheap if you bought them all at once, but it doesn’t compare to a mobile game where you can throw as much money as you want at the game, such as Diablo Immortal and the one idiot who spent over 100K on the game.
2ndly you can easily pay for your cosmetics over again, first you make a new blizzard account, buy the game again, then pay for your cosmetics again, knock yourself out. In fact you can do this every season, just keep rebuying the game over and over again along with the cosmetics. Not my idea of money well spent, but you do you.
Druid lets out a sigh of relief. ![]()
Sounds like you’re jealous of people who have money to spare on cosmetics.
With or without COSMETICS everyone still starts from scratch at the beginning of the season.
Sounds like sarcasm.
Hard to separate stupidity from sarcasm on this forum.
there 100% is whaling in this type of game.
whales exist in any game that offers any microtransactions. regardless of what the microtransactions are.
Whaling would imply you could spend infinite amounts of money on the game. Aside from making a new blizzard account, repurchasing the game, and then rebuying the cosmetics you can’t do that in this particular game.
I mean you could just keep buying the platinum bundles, but after you’ve received all of the cosmetics there would be no point to it. It’s not like you’re buying gambling tokens, exp boosts, etc. like you can in other games.
Could of swore whales just described people that spent a lot on a game not infinite amounts because alot of games even mobile don’t have infinite power creep like Diablo immortal
Yea infinite was not the right word, you’re absolutely right. I think currently for Diablo 4, it’ll take roughly $400-500 to get every cosmetic though? In the grand scheme of whaling on video games that isn’t much. Not that it isn’t a lot of money, but when you see whales spending entire year salaries on 1 video game, $400-500 seems rather low.
Now I personally wouldn’t spend that kind of money, or rather any additional money on the game just for a few cosmetics, but if that’s what people want to do with their money more power to them.
what are you smoking son?
$500 to me for in game purchases is insane but I understand what your saying.
Keep in mind that they’re already continuously making new cosmetics and depriving us of meaningful loot. That’s also per character class, and we’ve only just begun this game. They will make a lot more.
Anyone justifying the $60 cost of a single set is clearly brain-dead. That’s almost the cost of a video game… For one (singular) costume… That’s what the shareholders think of us gamers. Just a bunch of morons that’s willing to pay anything, evidently.
Only fools support the cash shop. The prices they are charging are an insult.
But we are… if we feel like we want to stay in game. I believe D4 can achieve this.
Whut? Wait…so, people pay money for cosmetics, like real actual money then you take away the cosmetic they paid for after the season is up in the name of segregation? I have to be missing something here…I’m missing something right?
I actually agree, the ones who are still left and stupid enough to keep giving money? Yeah you should have to buy those per-character mogs again PER CHARACTER means what it says, and your old character is now on eternal realm and still has those mogs!
Yeah no that’s not how paid for cosmetics work.
wondering if this is this satire?
