Outdated Graphics Driver

Hi, I have looked at as many previous questions regarding this and still can’t seem to figure it out. I just bought an Acer Predator Helios today and downloaded Diablo IV and am being told my Graphics drivers are out of date. I even tried to look at Youtube videos but the instructions don’t match what I’m seeing on my screen so I’m kind of lost. Can anyone help me figure out how to update the drivers so I can play ?

Not sure which version of the Helios you have or what GPU it came with, however.

You can simply go here and get the latest driver direct from Nvidia or AMD, depending on your card installed:

Nvidia cards:

  • Select the card model you have (notebook version only) and download it.

AMD Cards:

  • Just choose the model that matches your system and download it.

Once you have it downloaded the driver for your particular card brand, run the installer and follow the steps. Be sure to restart the system.

To do that, you click your windows icon to bring up the start menu, choose the power symbol, and choose RESTART. <— Very important. Shutting it down and powering it back up is NOT the same. Unless Fast Start is disabled, only using Restart will properly restart Windows. This is also highly recommended if the system gets goofy after awhile, since shutting down or putting it to sleep will NOT fix it.

Good luck. If that does nothing for your issue, there may be other things to try.
