Since we have way to little stash and inventory size, I am out of character slots.
With 6 mules I can not make any new characters. I have 6 level 100 for the rest.
We need a lot more stash space and inventory space ( for the mules ).
We are in 2024 and still do not have enough space in diablo games.
Steps to start with would be remove boss materials from chests, and potions as well. It is something that should not fill out stash. I am filling up my second stash page with boss materials now.
And why can we not have unlimited character slots, when you haven’t given enough stash space at all to begin with. I wish we would not have to make mules to play this game but as usual we do.
Are you planning on doing something about this very soon?. The game is not that old and already no more stash and character slots.
I do not feel like deleting all my characters in each season to be able to make new ones. I sometimes play on eternal as well.
So its actual some kind of game stop, like the limit is reached and no way to get any further.
Can we get some kind of feedback on what you wanna do about this nonsense?
youre playing wrong game if you are that attached to your characters. this isnt an MMO.
its single player game with required internet.
I have already deleted many level 100´s.
I love seeing this meme phrase. Like the year somehow matters at all
To be honest… I agree to almost all points from the OP’s topic.
The stash size is a joke and 12 character slots are a joke.
It’s useless to hoard so much gear. Blizzard will always do things over time to make the old gear inferior. They did it for years in D3.
Salvage all that gear you aren’t using, then delete your 6 mules.
This.
What is everyone hoarding anyway? Outside of uniques, ubers, and 3G, what needs to be kept that you can’t just go out and farm? Loot rains in this game, and we can slap affixes on any legendary we want.
I just deleted two characters at level 95 this morning because I was bored. Just delete them it feels good.
I deleted 4 after season, and 2 on eternal. Lots of character slots. Just keep the best gear delete the toon. P.s 90% of your gear is prob junk
Well i think it illustrates that the game is current with a problem that shouldnt exist at all now.
Stash design and limitations / shortfalls in particular were design decisions / mistakes of many early games in the general d and d space.
Granted other games have this problem now also but d4 really has no excuses. Other than gross incompetence.
Blizzard wont fix this for years.
So… op… buy another account when its on sale for 30 bucks, 5 dollars a stash tab. Avoid muling because you cant search player inventory
I play every season I still have plenty of char slots and plenty of stash space stop hoarding things you don’t actually need
I don’t have mules but I make a few alts every season. I had to delete an Eternal Sorc to make space for my s4 rogue. It hurt. I am still in mourning.
The game isnt designed for just you.
Its designed to include eternal and eternal hardcore.
Gearing and character development is different and clearly more permanent then seasons.
There is sunk cost and value systems in play that are applied differently to the permanent game players.
If you cant expand your view to understand this, you cant grasp this concept and wont understand that stash is peobably 1/3 the size it truly needs to be with ongoing new development and items and classes.
I keep only one or two characters per class. I keep the best ubers and uniques. Maybe a few legendaries and sell or salvage the rest. I use the same names for them every season so in my world they are the same characters playing every season, therefore Im just deleting duplicates.
It would be nice to get another slot or two for the new class.
I plan on buying probably an account per attribute.
Int dex str willpower
When stash is mentioned in these forums there are always the “don’t hoard, you have more than enough space” comments. It’s annoying when people dismiss other players like that. We don’t all play the same way. There are a lot of reasons why different players have different stash requirements.
What trash are you hording U need 6 miles lmao
Maybe he enjoys switching gear for different activities, maybe he enjoys crafting, maybe he enjoys trading. Why does it matter? The stash is a problem for many players for many different reasons.
Yeah no this is garbage. Each toon could in its invent alone two full builds. With 2 of each class U still have two character slots left so if your wearing a viable build and holding 2 , with two toons he can hold 6 complete gear sets without even interacting with stash.
Stash isn’t a problem at all.
Your straight up hoarding junk
Can you calculate the amount of space you need to hold one of all the uniques and uber uniques, consummables, s tier builds on say mobalytics with upgrade room for each build.
Then lets start the real discussion of continuum of play styles.
