Optimized/Lilith Bone Spear build is devastating on World Bosses

Hey, just a heads up for my fellow Necro players who aren’t familiar with it yet. People may bring this up more as time goes on.

So, you might have heard of “5 secs WB kill” using Necro. Well, I think it’s actually less than that if you count from when you are able to damage the boss and you have “max DPS”. BTW here’s how to do it:

  • Use the Uber Lilith Bone Spear build (means that you take the Flesh-Eater legendary node) or something similar
  • Cast Blood Mist (with Ghastly Blood Mist) two times, a couple of minutes before the fight starts and where the boss will spawn (might want to cast it a bit to the south for Ashava and Avarice), this let you create 6 corpses
  • Explode 4 corpses to prime Flesh-Eater before the fight starts, now you have 2 corpses remaining
  • When the boss spawn animation starts, cast Bone Storm, Corpse Tendril on one the the last two corpses, and explode the last corpse thus enabling Flesh-Eater
  • Cast Bone Spear on the boss from a bit removed position. Depending on your DPS, it may die in 5 secs or less

I think this is a problem on World Bosses since it’s a public event. Every time I tried it (don’t worry it’s just a couple of times), I always saw people commenting on the local chat lol. You might want to try it yourself if you haven’t to see how it is.

I mean… why invest so much energy into wiping a world boss out so fast?

Lately I spam splinters for like 10 seconds so other people get a chance to hit it. :sunglasses: In particular if I see a bunch of level 60’s and 70’s around. Then I unleash the Kraken so everyone can get their stuff faster.

You can just bring your Uber Lilith build and don’t need to invest into anything else. Actually, I think that’s the most likely scenario if you see a WB downed so fast, that there could be a Necro with that build there.

I have seen world bosses die in seconds because there was a level 100 in my group and that level 100 was never a Necromancer. World bosses are just weak and pathetic in WT4.
