Opinion: Please don't nerf melee builds/classes

why do i need to beg so hard for D4 balance team not nerfing melee class/build?

  1. most of ARPG and even in some MMO, Melee is literally “unplayable” due to: yeah, obviously you need to be melee-range to deal any damages while still need to do Mechanics and Puzzle. Which melee build in D4 is doing kinda fine for now. nerfing melee feels VERY unrewarding and nobody gonna play it.
  2. being melee means you need to pay attention to large pack of monsters and positioning more than range class, being melee you need to have higher defensive attribute (certainly, lol). Thus, more investment toward gears and slower clear speed at bad condition
  3. Look at other games, people speak the same things about that melee is unplayable. D4 melee is on a good state now where Barb and Druid can somehow being great and Rouge looks fun to dash around => So? DON’T NERF IT! don’t destroy what is already working.

=> this post is not nonsense and redundant, because there are many games that nerfed melee into a level that you need to spend at least 120 hours to gear up your melee to " feel comfortable" just to clear contents, not gonna lie, you do you but these games exist!

I hope they nerf the WW gloves into the ground. Everything else seems rather fine.

They can nerf outlier melee builds if needed without nerfing melee in general. You kinda come off as acting like being melee should be a free pass to be OP.

From the latest information they gave, it seems there won’t be any major nerfs prior to launch. There should be some before season 1 though.

Nothing should ever be nerfed into the ground, what a ridiculous statement.

With the mechanic in place they need to be nerfed to the ground or reworked. Even if you half the effect on the gloves they are still far to strong and if someone isn’t unable to realise this… well I’ve more pressing matters then talking with people who are out of touch with reality.
