Opinion after over 200 hours of gameplay (ROGUE)

Hello,

First of all, I think the game has potential, but there are so many things that slow down the gameplay / gamefun:

  • Whether the now normal dungeons or ND dungeons (even on high level play, the Loot remains just as crappy), as well as XP.
  • The loot in the end game has bad stats, I run around partly still with gear of LVL +70 / 85.
  • The costs for re-rolling are much too high, sometimes you farm the whole day gold to roll nothing good.
  • The run arounds in Helltide annoying to then find out that at the destination the event was already made / then again to another point or wait there… (furthermore the events are often buggy)
  • Uber Lilith is much too difficult is not know what Blizzard thinks of it but it is much too hard for various classes (you want to keep us busy with it only?!).
  • There could be much more loot dropping at the end of an ND or even a choice of what you want to have, often it’s just crap.
  • The XP is far too little (here should come a change but probably only for ND).
  • Solo players like me are once again always at a disadvantage.
  • I do not know if I want to repeat this drama with the game every season … too stressful to get ahead, the Loot is just bad in the endgame.
  • Casuals remain here totally on the track the game is what for permanent player
  • The list could go on forever so but I can not currently remember of anything  but you can write below what still goes so…

Blizzard is a company of course they want players to play the seasons and buy in the store, but if the game fun falls by the wayside I have no desire to play more, it should be fun and not feel like work.

I hope there comes soon many improvements otherwise I do not know if I stay long on the ball, the brainwashing Blizz has made anyhow months and all the hype is currently just not worth it.

PS. Sorry for my bad english…

have over 200 hours of gameplay miself , and have stoped playing until a major patch hits that whould make me come back to playing

Some of the problems i saw in my time playing:

Solo gameplay is not rewarding enough
Searching for saved aspects or sigils in stash is cumbersome , a simple search option whould have been great.
Gems tab
Very bad itemisation , whites and blues are non existent , sacred and ancestral are basicly the same thing + 10 more stats , unqiues are badly designed and ussless
Rarity of the rarest uniques is to rare to even bother for them
Diversity in the item drops is non existent , basicly you get the same drops over and over again
Crafting (enchanting) to expencive
Horse mechanics are bad
Monster density has been nerffed to hell and back
World bosses beside the fact that they feel like courtyad bosses are not rewarding at all.
To many damage buckets to many afixes , very few usseful ones
No trade
No global chat in a online service game …!!! who whould of thought…

There are so many important issues whit the game as of this moment and blizzard is pushing , seasons and anouncing expansions allready… You core game is still not ready… work on that first…after do seasons and expansions.

But hey to the casual this dosent mather , things like this are non existent issues . I love diablo and bought the 100$ one , and realy didnt think id get boared of it in 3 weeks .

But at the moment there is no incentive for me to play the game , i want to play it… but then think what am i gonna do in it?? theres nothing for me to do… dungeons are boaring , items are not worth farming they are all crap , there is no WoW factor when you drop a unique , its only mehhh vendor trash , helltides are boaring having to run around like a hamster from event to event , only thing nice is PVP but even that become boaring after buying all the MTX in the PVP area…

Maby its just me but thats what i think of the game right now…

All true what you said, items are really crap at a certain point and still not able to beat the endboss.

Actual the only point of doing is to bring chars to 100 with the crap loot we get…

Well 200 hours of having fun is definitely worth it I think. If you only had fun for the first 2-3 hours then decided to quit then that could be considered not worth it I think.

Sure but I think diablo franchise is more then having fun for 200 hrs, it’s fun to bring min-max the chars but it’s not really possible right now without investion to MUCH TIME in one char without playing other once :grimacing:

You are probably just burned out. take a break and return refreshed. Burn out is real in any game. Even when I was young and played a lot of my favorite games. There will come a time to take a break.

To be sure game can have a lot of QoL. Lots of stuff that blizz should have included and hopefully improve upon quickly.

im not saying the game isnt worth its money , it defenetly is , but its broken in so many aspects right now , that is fun until a certain point after that ( when it actualy mathers) in the end game it becomes boaring. Im literaly looking at the Battlenet App and thinking , if i go in , what am i going to do??? This should not happen , it should not be a issue , but it is.
And blizzard pushes season and expansions insted of fixing the core game. Its not just me that sed these thing… if it was only me id understand im stupid or whatever… but there are to many that enumareted these problems and still no fix for any of them .

I think I can add myself here as well above 200+ hours (probably more since I try to either 6 hours a day (cuz of work) or 15+ hours in the free time) with 100 Rogue, 78 Sorc and 80 Necro (still in the leveling process):

  • The endgame in my opinion is at the moment too little to keep grinding for. The moment you spec into either pushing for 100’s dungeon or for Uber Lilith and you clear them, there is nothing to keep playing on that char. My take on that was: next character

  • Loot in the game is something that keeps me playing, trying to find the best rolls/affixes on every gear.

  • The cost is indeed something that could be looked at, since some dont make sense after 2-3 rolls, but then again: It should be keeping at a high value so that you have a reason to farm gold. Cant be having as D3 had it: 2-3 puzzle rings and never look at that pesky gold again. Also set yourself some bounderies on the re-roll: When is it worth to keep rerolling? Mostly I just stop after it hits 1.2-1.5Mil per roll

  • XP is something it will get addressed at in the upcoming patch(es).

  • For me, Seasons are more than welcome. I love to do these things over and over again, since every season has (or should have) new patches with balances and probably a new way to build your char. Cba to test builds on your current char with these high demanding goldcost (which again: could be looked at again but imo should stay at a high value due to economical, logical answer which I cant provide atm)

I would say, just sit out and wait what S1 and S2 is going to bring and possible patches/fixes in between.
