Opening cinematic freezing for anyone else?

Anyone else having an issue where the opening cinematic’s video will randomly freeze but the audio keeps playing? If so, have you found a solution?
I didn’t have the issue in the beta and I’ve updated BattleNet, my graphics drivers and restarted my laptop but it’s still happening…

No audio but i froze at Blizzard Entertainment. I had the same issue during server slam weekend as well but no issues on the regular BETA

If you click right as the cinnematic starts, you get to login, but for me it crashes when in login aswell -_-

Yes…i got past it by clicking rapidly but now it freezes at log in screen. Blizzard games and poor launches are basically that spider man meme

thing is I want to watch the cutscene properly though. I just freezes annoyingly

Yeah, same exact issue here. Could we at least get an acknowledgement from blizz that you guys are aware and working on it?

I have met the same problems When I log in and screen turns grey for 1 sec, then freezes on blizzard entertainment page but audio keep playing for few seconds, after it game not responding. I used almost every solution I could find on the internet, update software, clean cache, scan, uninstall, but still remain the same

Try to copy the D4 Files to a different disk and change the folder in battle.net.
For me it fixed the issue.

No issues here, the whole thing has so far for me been surprisingly slick and bug free. I’m sure that will change at some point as I’ve yet to play a bug free game or one that had no issues on any system. Good luck getting to the bottom of this issue, sorry you aren’t having a great experience.

Now that I think of it, I didn’t get any opening cinematic at all this time, and neither in the server slam. Simply, after the Blizzard and Diablo IV splash screen I went directly to the character creation menu.
At least I had seen the opening in the beta :slight_smile:

However, having a way to replay cinematics in the main menu wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Yes it’s happening to me also. Blizzard splash comes up and then freeze. Never goes beyond this. Clicking causes it to ctd

I you delete the config file on PC and boot up the game you get to see the cutscene again
